It should be obvious that I am working through my procastrination. I've made a diagram. The keys changed because the staggering was degrading performance more than I wanted.

I thought that this was a neat instrument, but I am starting to have doubts.

Nothing works, but at least I have pretty plots.

It does things. It doesn't get punished enough for hitting the wrong key though

It is always fun to do computational experiments where the reward function suddenly collapses after you made a change you thought was good :D

Well this was significantly both more and less of a pain than I had imagined.

Now to move on to nonhomogeneous boundary conditions to model Physarum dynamics :D

Implementing numerical algorithms from a paper is quite difficult. I was pleased to get this working last night. Now I just need to figure out how to add another coupling equation to model the diffusion of the chemo-attractant over the graph.

Good. The validation that I needed today.

Imagine taking commentary from the Automobile Association of South Africa on planned work on a rail network. Obviously they will give reasoned and unbiased commentary...

First time snatching in months after hurting my wrist (ganglion cyst). I worked up to 50kg and did three sets. I feel crusty and out of practice, but my coach think they look nice so I will take it.

Like I obviously don't want users to be able to configure my runners. So I need to shim the sql (or some other clever thing that I have not thought of yet)

I think I just built a multi-tenant datalake. It uses ducklake and postgres to run the catalog. My query execution happens using isolated processes running ducklake in-memory databases. And I have full tenant data isolation. I expose a postgres-like dsn so psql can just connect to it.

I am in a lecture for global optimisation. We are going to learn about simulated annealing. The lecturer has started with an introduction on thermodynamic metallurgy. There are angle bonds on the board. Sir, I am an applied mathematician. Give me the math and let me write the code.

I haven't gotten this angry at software in quite a while. Just getting this little wave going was exceedingly frustrating.

I am trying to figure out Yumi movements and I am torn between enjoying the process of figuring out how to use the platform and the frustration of not having documentation to know how the joints work. Like why is the left gripper going?

I got a late birthday gift today; this is a pretty book and I am excited to look at some proofs.
