Apparently, Outlook is not ready for Daylight Saving and tells me it'll start when it's damn good and ready...
A Windows popup from Outlook saying, "Outlook is checking for an updated version and will finish opening when ready." there is an 'OK' button.

It's been six weeks since bone cancer took you from us and we're still numb. I miss you every single moment.
A beautiful black and white dog laying in the green grass. He's looking to the right with his tongue out and you can see his white teeth as he pants. He's wearing a jaunty yellow bandana and has a black bone-shaped tag hanging from his collar. His name was Guinness and we loved him so.

@antoinnesterk I still have the chart.
The second trumpet musical chart for Mercy, Mercy, Mercy by Josef Zawinyl. Arranged by Johnny Warrington. The chart is old and stained as I have had it since 1978.

I can't begin to describe how much this guy meant to me. I've had dogs my whole life but never one that I connected with like Guinness. We will miss you buddy.
A medium sized black and white dog, in fact the best dog in the world, stands on a path looking to the left as the sun sets through the trees behind him.

An autonomous robot giving us the ‘Sieg Heil’ while the WSJ runs ironically optimistic headlines is exactly the dystopian future some predicted.
A Wall Street Journal headline that reads “The $40 billion startup mystery shaking up Silicon Valley” beneath an image of an allegedly autonomous robot that, to me, appears to be giving the Nazi ‘Sieg Heil’ salute.

Holy Cow! Bothell really showed up today. There was tremendous energy at this protest, it was pretty cool. #handsoff

Pretty sweet sunset tonight at Libby Point.
Golden orange sunset over Hammersley Inlet with the gorgeous sky reflected in the water. Evergreen trees and a couple of houses line the bank across the inlet.

Google claims that the Random Circuit Sampling (RCS) test is "the hardest benchmark that can be done on a quantum computer today" and has a graphic to illustrate this. I have a different interpretation of the same chart: "RCS is the least useful benchmark that can be […] [Original post on c.im]
Chart with Y axis showing difficulty and X axis showing usefulness of a given quantum benchmark test. The RCS is in the upper left, very difficult but completely useless.
