Apparently they skip the pig scene. Which… uh… is kind of important.

… then why are you pretending to adapt Carrie?

I think it was heard a few days ago. I think on Audible or something I saw the name in the listing for you. I’m mostly curious how you’ll format this one. Lotus War being more traditionally formatted, Nevernight being heavy on parallelism and dancing around the page, and Empire being interviews.

Oh I misread, thought you said "I forgot to play". But yeah. I am interested in The Witcher 3. But haven’t played yet. Also considering The Blood of Dawnwalker. If you’ve seen that.

I fell asleep watching the first one after 30 minutes, and I never fall asleep during movies. The entire thing is held together with a premise that is ALREADY flimsy, then adds in slow motion overuse. Slo-mo grain falling, anyone?

Pretty much, hence my point. The more blatant the perpetrator is, the more likely they’re absolved.

It SHOULD. But the people who actually make the decisions either don’t care or like it. So I’m skeptical.

It doesn’t have to help them when the people helping them fundamentally don’t care and will defend them anyway.

Hi, I was wondering if you could answer some questions about the series? Nothing about Season 4, of course. Just trying to get some details because I was going to write some analysis of the vampires, and some of the wording and names are either a little odd or hard to discern spelling.

I assume this was followed by him jumping out of a car. Not because of Hal. But because apparently that’s something Kyle Chandler just… does. Regularly.

When you claim someone's work is boring, that’s definitely something against the team that makes it.

Genuinely love this series. I do have some questions about it though, mostly in terms of spelling and the like due to it being audio only (except the prequel comics). I hope @travisbeacham.bsky.social would be willing to provide answers to a random fan.

Two more questions about #ImpactWinter, specific to Season 3 for @travisbeacham.bsky.social, regarding spelling. 1. The names of the Council. Different languages make it tricky by voice. 2. Lidia (or is it Lydia?)'s full name. I couldn’t hear the surname and wasn’t sure on her given's spelling.

Greg Ellner @gregoryellner.bsky.social · 16/09/2026
I don’t know how much influence you have, @travisbeacham.bsky.social, but would that idea possibly be in the cards? I also got the original comics (and wish we could see more, admittedly, maybe for the Council's origins).

Finished the third season of @travisbeacham.bsky.social and Audible's #IMPACTWINTER. One of the best stories I’ve heard, with production values out of this world, from a full (10/10) cast to a stellar soundtrack. My only desire for it is a script book, as some words/phrases I don’t quite catch.

As things have started calming down, I will maybe get back into posting again. Not sure if anyone will care. But it is a way to communicate, however little, with certain creators. My posting will not include random replies to others, though, as I am done dealing with hate, regardless of whom.

Few people will care about this at all, but I’ve noticed a serious uptick in violent rhetoric and hostility here comparable to the site I refer to as Norwegian Blue. As such, I will only be used by this account to talk to friends in DMs or to let them know we can continue by DM.

In summary: Someone excitedly talking a bunch of trying to get a word in doesn’t mean they’re being intentionally rude if they genuinely don’t know. Doing so SPECIFICALLY to shut them up is.

up front when I know I’m gonna be talking with them a long time since I might not notice. B) Three rights make a left, but that doesn’t mean you should do what you claim to know is wrong. C) This person gets annoyed whenever I talk AT ALL. INCLUDING when she asks me something.

I ran into this last night. I was interrupted twice by someone while trying to just explain something to a third person, and told them "I just want you to know, being interrupted pisses me off." Response: "Oh so when you do it, it’s okay." A) if I was doing that, TELL ME. I always ask people to be

So… this means The Fellspyre Chronicles are fully dead?

Greg Ellner @gregoryellner.bsky.social · 25/11/2025
I never said his reaction is good either. But calling for death is never okay. Calling for an apology or a retraction? Ok. But the majority of these replies haven’t been "polite".

And so we go to ad hominem. That took longer than expected.

Greg Ellner @gregoryellner.bsky.social · 25/11/2025
And for the people who are saying they hate the material and are all but certain to dogpile this for being remotely positive: that’s totally valid. That’s fine. Threatening the creator's life or telling him to commit self harm in real life is not.

Greg Ellner @gregoryellner.bsky.social · 25/11/2025
even so. The point is that the response is not okay. Bottom line. Poorly thought out or even deliberately horrible writing decisions (again I’m not pointing to anyone) is NO excuse.

Greg Ellner @gregoryellner.bsky.social · 25/11/2025
When people are saying they hate it AND saying "well yeah death threats aren’t okay BUT", which do you think is the part they ACTUALLY care about? I’ll admit I’m biased. I haven’t read it (I don’t read many comics, and don’t tend to touch X books usually) and have friendly interactions w/him. But

Greg Ellner @gregoryellner.bsky.social · 25/11/2025
People are saying "Yeah there’s death threats and those aren’t okay but you are wrong." Nobody is saying what was written is okay. I haven’t seen any defense of the work itself. They’re saying the response isn’t okay. I saw someone saying "comic writers aren’t real people" as their excuse.

Neither am I, but I’m not going to blame someone for not realizing their mistakes over a decade before they were known to the public. It costs nothing to not engage. If you didn’t care, you wouldn’t have written anything. Unless you’re saying you don’t care about truth or accuracy in blame.

So like Life Story? I just generally feel Marvel works best when it’s dealing with down-to-earth issues. I’ve heard it said that the core difference between DC and Marvel is that DC heroes you look up to, Marvel heroes you relate to.
