Warriors fan since 1965, when they were the San Francisco Warriors. Not a bandwagoner.

Do Baby Boomers count in your poll? Definitely the brain on drugs. The first one doesn’t resonate with me at all, but then I’m old.

Not the main point here, Smith would definitely have remembered being at the Warriors-Hawks game if he had actually been there. The Hawks won in overtime in a a game in which Steph Curry scored 60. Definitely a memorable game.

Not a 76ers fan, but I remember when they beat my Warriors in the 1967 finals. Yes, I’m old. I believe the Sixers won 68 games that year. Starting 5 was Wilt, Luke Jackson, Chet Walker, Wali Jones, and Hal Greer, with Billy Cunningham off the bench. That’s 4 future Hall of Famers.

Not Luka’s biggest fan, but he took an inferior team to the finals. He’s never been on a team with anywhere near as much talent as Tatum has. Don’t get me wrong, I think Tatum is great. But it’s not fair to knock Luka for not winning when, all things considered, he’s won more than expected.

True, but my point was there will be no amendment to repeal. Not a chance. More important things to worry about, in my opinion.

Can’t make it permanent without a constitutional amendment, which requires for starters 2/3 vote of both houses, which obviously they don’t come close to having the votes for. HR1 is all for show and otherwise meaningless.

I also would like DeRozan, but I’m afraid he may favor the Clippers (home town) or the Raptors (where he had his best years and is still loved. But if he’s willing to come here, great. I would also like Mathurin, but I don’t think they can afford him. Duren would be great but way too expensive.

He’s going to let this play out as long as people are paying attention, which will be forever if ESPN has anything to say about it. The other guy who is enjoying the spotlight just much: Rich Paul. When’s the last time you saw an agent get so many interviews? Can’t wait till this ends.

Mixed feelings, but leaning yes, because Steph and LeBron are such a perfect fit. One of the best passers/creators setting up an all time great shooter who’s most dangerous when he doesn’t have the ball.

Tim, Shams reported yesterday that with the Porzingis signing, Bobby Marks was saying that the Warriors could no longer offer LeBron the full taxpayer mid-level exception? Any update on this? Meaning, what is the most they can offer him?

Not quite the same. For example, I am optimistic that the Democrats will control the House next January. I am hopeful but not optimistic that the Democrats will control the Senate next January.

And in 2015. And whether he was the “best” player on the Durant teams is at least debatable; I would say that Curry was the most important player on those teams, too. You’ll note that Durant has never won a ring without Curry, despite playing with all stars at every stop.

Hilton may not even make it into the general election. Still a third of votes uncounted, the vast majority likely Democratic voters. Steyer could still end up second, but even if he doesn’t, there’s no way a maga Trump-endorsed candidate can be elected governor in California.

Chase @gregor1965.bsky.social · 03/06/2026
For the one thing, there are over 40% of the votes left to count, so Hilton may well not finish “first.” Even if he does, so what? You’re not suggesting he could win a general election, are you? When all the votes are in, I suspect you’ll see a 60-40 D-R division. Nothing to worry about.

I’ve gotten the Celtics quite a few times, from all different eras. The Warriors, on the other hand, not even once. Very disappointing as a Warriors fan from way back.

Larry Bird called DJ the best and smartest player he ever played with. And all the Celtics had to give up for him was a stiff named Rick Robey. What a steal!

I am in favor of a modification to the CBA that allows you to re-sign players you drafted, or undrafted players developed first through your system, for no or reduced penalty. Right now teams like that are on equal footing with teams like the Clippers who can just buy teams through free agency.

I prefer Cade, but yes, Tatum is another possibility. But the 4 international players are all better than any of those Americans will ever be, in my opinion, and with the exception of Jokic, they’re all as young or younger than the American candidates except Flagg.

Chase @gregor1965.bsky.social · 18/05/2026
I don’t think we’ll see another American MVP for at least 10 years, but if we do I’m taking Cade over Ant.

29 points in the 4th quarter to bring the Warriors back from a 14-point deficit against the eventual champion. Sure, they still ended up losing the series 4-1, but that one win was pure joy.

Wilt retired in 1973, last played for the 76ers in 1968. Dr. J joined the Sixers in 1976, after beginning his career in the ABA. So no, they were never on the same team, not even close. He (Dr. J) did play with Moses Malone, and they won a championship together. Definitely not rebuilding then!

The Nuggets have been my second favorite team for years now, and since the Warriors will likely out of the running early, I’ll be rooting for them again this year. If AG can ever get fully healthy, they’ve got a shot. As great as Murray is, I still think Gordon is their 2nd most important player.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not, but as part of this “crucial older demographic,” I don’t consider Iran an “intractable enemy” and am fully opposed to this attack. By the way, please note that the most consistently pro-Republican demographic is 45-64, not 65+ like myself.
