Fantastic! Maybe this was what i read about it- if so- thanks gor helping me understand the lore of my adopted home 😀

Greg Nieuwsma @gregnieuws.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I live in Krakow and I remember hearing a story about what is i believe the only time he played here (circa '93 or '94?)- it was quite a story- you might consider covering that one too.

I've been playing with this for a couple of days now, and it's one of my new favorite things. This is completely apart from the fact that I get to (virtually) jam with some of my biggest musical heroes and inspirations, which is a great bonus, not gonna lie.

I don't know why this never occurred to me before, but now that someone has thought of it, it's so obvious. I will be playing around with this tool (erm, ok "toy") for sure!

I was looking for minimalist music done on a mellotron, but couldn't find any. At the time I was also listening to a lot of vocal music like Hildegard von Bingen. When I sat down to make music, this came out. Please have a listen and I hope you enjoy: wormholeworld.bandcamp.com/album/minima...

I guess I'm more like Leonard Cohen than Bob Dylan according to the lore.

A melody that i wrote maybe 20 years ago that never went anywhere suddenly popped into my head today. I sat down with the guitar, now in a tuning I didn't play then, and...maybe there's something there.

Ah so you’re one of those 2.2, okaaayy…

110

Greg Nieuwsma @gregnieuws.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

If you are going by the Biggs Randolph scale, it does clear the bar of minimum acceptable post, yes. But please remember the other 2.2, for whom rejecting math is an artisitc choice, Of course they will never admit to being 2.2, but we don't reject math do we?

Smart son- yes absolutely. Smart dad? If his album cover ideas are too corpo- maybe not so much

Greg Nieuwsma @gregnieuws.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

I'm working on a record cover and shared a few concepts with my son and his response for three out of four of them was "too corporate" and while the choice is now clear I also understand I need to re-think everything.
