The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival starts today and runs until 26th July kicking off the start of festival season in the city 🎹 More than 100 concerts will take place during the festival and this Sunday will see the Festival Carnival travel down the Mound and along Princes Street 🎷💃🏾🦚

Here are a few non-puffin pics from the recent Isle of May landing. As well as 90,000 puffins, the island is also home for part of the year to over 200,000 seabirds including guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes, fulmars, terns and shags as well as a colony of grey seals 🏝️🦭

Great to be back on the Isle of May in the sunshine taking pictures of puffins for the Scottish Seabird Centre. Severe storms over winter had an impact on these amazing birds who spend August to April in the North Atlantic and Arctic Ocean before returning to the same burrows on the island to breed

Huge congratulations to the amazing team of Row4MND who set off in their rowing boat from Cornwall on 25th July and arrived in Port Edgar yesterday. This completes the first leg of their 4 year challenge which aims to raise £57m to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease. Incredible effort 🛶🌊🎉
