40 years ago this month we were in pre-production on my first film, SLIME CITY - one of the most exciting periods of my life. Pictured: the mechanical head duplicate of Robert Sabin and the "stomach mouth" contraption that bit off a mugger's hand. #flm #slime #SlimeCity #CultFilm #practicaleffects

Alternative Cinema, distributor of my catalog titles, split with its digital partner, Vision Films, and most of my early films have vanished from tubi, which makes them more or less unavailable except for physical media (and KILLER RACK is OOP). Oddly, NAKED FEAR is still up. #film #cultfilms

I'm happy to see that my horror comedy KILLER RACK is now available on plex in addition to tubi. Yes, it's about Lovecraftian breast implants with "a hunger for human flesh" but it's also a sweet rom-com about positive body image, told in the Zucker Bros. style of puns and sight gags. #film

My goal for Action Cinema Entertainment is to produce an entire slate of action-oriented genre films instead of spending two years on one microbudget movie. BLOOD HERETICS is an action-packed vampire screenplay with gallons of blood. #film #vampires #actionfilm

Help me compile a list of male actors 60 - 70, who could play the aged version of a Charles Manson _type_ (emphasizing cult leader charisma over insanity) in an action thriller. Looking for indie stars, but also Fi Core who will work nonunion. #film #casting

UNBILLIEVABLE! THE MOVIE isn't mine, but I was one of the producers and the 1st AD. It was written and co-directed by Scott A. Rubin, who edited National Lampoon for a decade. It's a comedy about a family of diehard #BuffaloBills fans who hold a watch party when the Bills reach the Super Bowl. #film

I live for movies, make low budget horror films and run a film festival, am liberal with zero tolerance for right wing bullshit of any kind, and frankly detest "I'm in the middle" liars and cowards even more. There is no value in following MAGAts or trying to reason with them.

MAGAts are not the only unsavory characters who have made their way onto Bluesky. This pervert - a writer, magician and occultist - continually reappears on social media, sometimes under this name and sometimes under an alias, and when people call him out he posts photos of their children. Beware.
