“We’re really serious about this because you’re failing to recognise that you’ve got to have the backs of your servicemen and women,” added Mr Butler, who was awarded the Distinguished Service Order in 2002.
“Has trust been broken? I don’t think there is far to go before it is. Remember, trust goes both ways and if you want to maintain the world’s premiere special forces organisation, you’ve got to look after it.”
Mr Butler was critical of the use of human rights law to prosecute soldiers operating in combat environments.
He said that soldiers were pursued “through the prism of human rights laws, as opposed to the law of armed conflict and the rules of engagement from the Geneva Convention”, describing this as “totally inappropriate” for armed conflict.Grenfell described how she was told that soldiers dropped detainees in Afghanistan from forklift trucks “for fun”. She said she asked someone what they did in their spare time in the country and they said they got forklift trucks and “drove really fast then slammed on the brakes so they fell from a height”. She said: “I thought, ‘I can’t believe you are saying that.’”

SAS called me Taliban apologist, officer tells Afghanistan inquiry

She explained how in one case her boss disappeared to a different job without notice and another relatively new SAS soldier told her it was because he had been accused of “war crimes”. The soldier told her he had been with him when he carried them out, she claimed.
“These things were told casually. He [the soldier] wasn’t going to question him, he was thrilled to be in the SAS. He was smiling like everyone was doing it,” she said. She described some of the SAS as “feral” and claimed that one member of personnel described the atmosphere as akin to Lord of the Flies.

But that's not really the level at which we can analyze. It's
not central, it's secondary. I don't claim to define the situation. I
try to reveal tendencies. And I think I 've revealed a number of
important ones: the question of speed; speed as the essence of war;
technology as producer of speed; war as logistics, not strategy; war
as preparation of means and no longer as battles, declaration of
hostilities. Endo-colonization: the colony has always been the
model of the political State, which began in the city, spread to the
nation, across the communes, and reached the stage of the French
and English colonial empires. And now it backfires, which we knew
the moment there was decolonization. Decolonization is not a
positive sign, it's an endo-colonial sign. If you decolonize without,

The first rule of military ethics is have fun :)
In an unprecedented move, according to two of the sources, the army also decided during the first weeks of the war that, for every junior Hamas operative that Lavender marked, it was permissible to kill up to 15 or 20 civilians; in the past, the military did not authorize any "collateral damage" during assassinations of low-ranking militants. The sources added that, in the event that the target was a senior Hamas official with the rank of battalion or brigade commander, the army on several occasions authorized the killing of more than 100 civilians in the assassination of a single commander.

“Moreover, the central macabre conundrum remains that a huge modern bureaucratic machinery of social classification and problem solving, not to mention a huge killing machine, was developed to deal with a problem that did not exist. Jews did not threaten the Nazis, and their removal was of no commensurate gain to the Reich. In all these senses the Holocaust remains as singular and distinctive as ever.”

After six wonderful years at UK Music, I'm joining Palantir UK as Senior Vice President.
Palantir is the most interesting company on the planet, doing work of real consequence: helping Britain and its allies defend themselves, helping police protect our citizens and helping NHS staff get patients treated and home sooner.London is comfortably its largest centre outside the US, home to more than one in six employees, the highest proportion among the world's largest technology companies.
We have challenges. Some criticism is propaganda. Some raises legitimate questions about large technology companies and sovereign control. Both require answers.Part of my role will be to correct false information while working with our engineers to ensure privacy, security and respect for sovereignty are at the heart of everything we do.

I believe the Rhodesians had a similar attitude.
MI6, the Secret Intelligence Service, did not give Burnham an emphatic
'Don't do it' message, but it outlined that it could risk intelligence-sharing with Israel. 'People in 6 are pulling their hair out, says an influential Labour figure close to the security services. They presented warnings about the consequences of doing this? That source even suggests that Saar only took Miliband's call after a request was passed on by MI6 via Mossad. Netanyahu routinely refuses to talk to British politicians.
A non-political source with deep roots in the intelligence community has this to say: 'If you appear like a lightweight who will selectively virtue-signal, you're not going to be taken seriously again? He says that Mossad already views MI6 as competent but overcautious: 'The relationship was difficult because we did national security, the Israelis do national survival. I think the Israelis see us as pretty professional, but a bunch of pussies in terms of the methods that we would use?
