For anyone wanting to watch Sakura Wars for the first time, I’ll warn you now… Kanzaki Sumire is an insufferable character in the OVAs and even worse in the tv show

Time really flew… next Sunday is the finale for Kamen Rider Zeztz… and I’m so behind on tokusatsu, I haven’t watched much since the end of Kamen Rider Gotchard. Need to finish Boonboomger, watch Gozyuger, Gaav, Zeztz, Gavan Infinity, and Omegahorn… where’s the extra time when I need it?

Ghost Stories (Gakkou no Kaidan) is coming up on my anime list for the year 2000… I think I’m going to watch it subbed for the actual story, rather than the dub for the sake of comedy…

It’s been a long while since I watched Cardcaptor Sakura that I forgot what Eriol’s endgame was with inconveniencing Sakura the way he does… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Was looking through old emails and found a draft of the massive Final Fantasy fanfic project I started working on nearly 11 years ago! Unfortunately it was a draft that only had the prologue and first act in it… but I thought I had lost the entire thing. Got emotional reading it all again…

Strange… so, watching shows such as Rurouni Kenshin, YuGiOh (“season 0”) Trigun and Night Walker. Kenshin’s English voice actor is in Trigun and Night Walker, but also, in RK and YuGiOh, I’m at points where both talk about Feng Shui and Taoism… probably just a coincidence

Rest in Peace to Kenji Ohba, one of the greatest tokusatsu actors in history! He was well known for portraying Battle Kenya in Battle Fever J, DenziBlue in Denshi Sentai Denziman, and of course the titular character of Uchuu Keiji Gavan!

There’s an internal debate I’m having… do I add Pokemon to the anime list? If I do… that’s 74 more entries that I need to type out on my doc file AND I would need to binge the fist 46 episodes (including 3 US banned episodes)

@pinkleryu28.bsky.social psssssst… If I recall correctly, you’re into YuGiOh, yes? I’m watching season 0 for the first time. Should I be wary of the character Shadi for any reason?

Watching YuGiOh for the first time, starting with what I guess people call “season 0” and this Jonouchi guy is a douche. Leave Yugi to enjoy his youth ya little shithead! I like this Ushio guy though… looking out for Yugi, but taking it a bit far

There aren’t too many fighting games with good anime adaptations, but I’d say Darkstalkers is one of the good anime adaptations. Even with it only being a 4 part OVA. Fatal Fury is pretty good with its 3 movies. Then of course Street Fighter has Street Fighter II V & the Street Fighter II anime film
