The Jalen Hurts debate is stuck in the past. Critics measure him with an outdated ruler. That's why they all get it wrong. No clickbait or manufactured drama. An honest look at the person, leader, & mindset of Eagles QB1. metrophiladelphia.com/stories/jale...

Everything you think you know about Jalen Hurts is wrong - Metro Philadelphia
Jalen Hurts is everything that no one believes he is. Despite the fact that his play and numbers have shown otherwise, the NFL continues to misread the Eagles QB.

My favorite mountain in the world (the one where Cesare Maestri shot bolts into the face with a compressor - the Compressor Route - to make climbing easier). Nothing like Patagonia's jagged peaks IMO. Just booked Jan 2027 to go there, did the Chilean side few years ago.

Draft Grades should work as such: A- Great value for position or you drafted a player who will immediately out perform their position. B- Good value here. Not the steal of the draft but really good value. C- Expected value here. You don’t get an A for taking a top 10 player in the top 10. D

Let's go, Eagles are signing UDFA LS Rocco Underwood

Just Greg @greghartpa.bsky.social · 26/04/2026
It's a lean draft class and I said really the top 3 picks for PHI were the ones that mattered. WR and OT as premium position investments Stowers may be the only TE that projects as a plus pass catcher And turning pick 98 into Greenard is better option than best picks there

Some UDFAs I'd love to see: OG: Jaeden Roberts OT: Isaiah World TE: John Michael Gyllenborg SAF: Bishop Fitzgerald DT: Bryson Eason LS: Tyler Duzansky

Cole Fn Payton! I seriously think he could be QB1 in this class. One thing I over index on with QBs is how they do against pressure and there are only two QBs in this class good at it - Mendoza and Payton QB factory 2026!

UPDATED: Canady is gone, replace that pick with who I should have had in that spot from the beginning: LS Rocco Underwood Eagles will probably try to sign PSU's Duzansky as a UDFA but they should draft the better, more athletic Underwood

Random draft thoughts: Steelers took Allar yesterday, they have 5 more picks, take another QB today (I'd take Payton), tell ARod to pound sand, and see who wins the job. There's always a team that takes all my guys, not really one this year but DET is closest with Blake Miller and Derrick Moore

Over the past 10 drafts, there have been 22 TEs drafted at 80th percentile or better value - just over 2 per draft. To make that mean something, the 80th percentile cutoff is right around guys like Isaiah Likely, Dalton Schultz, Cole Kmet with Dawson Knox, Theo Johnson, AJ Barner just below 1/5

Markell Bell is the best OT they were getting after R1.

I like Lemon but still think Eagles got WR3-4 when they had who I thought was OT1 in Freeling. LA at 13 and then DET at 17 were the OT risks. Apparently Howie tried to trade up with CAR and DET but they would not move. The day after, I still would have traded up into 14-16.

Call me crazy, but Cole Payton will end up being QB2 in this class, possibly QB1.
010
Just Greg @greghartpa.bsky.social · 24/04/2026
If PHI wants an OT, this is going well as LA was a risk, probably ok the next couple of picks but I'd start thinking about trading up if they want one - DET is next risk.

In Jan, I said if I had to predict, the pick would be Freeling. Now with Freeling likely going higher, the guy I would pick to be announced tonight is Iheanachor. My comment on him is he is "the most Eagles pick in this draft" and think that will hold true.

My reactions on various potential picks: My guy: Move up for Monroe Freeling Love: Max Iheanachor, Blake Miller, Jordyn Tyson Good: Omar, Vega Meh: Faulk, Dillon Hope I'm wrong on if they are the pick: Proctor, Sadiq, Boston Hate: EMW, Mesidor, Parker

On 2026 Draft Eve, my final mock with key points: Trade up if your guy is there: class is weak, hit rates around 70 aren't good. I really care about nailing the first two picks. Get back to premium positions after 2025 draft Neal is high floor Last 4 picks all are wide outcomes but upside traits

I struggled trying to sum this up in 300 characters, but here’s the info on the private drive for those who inquired. The coverage library and the material related to the Reid offense, Baltimore & Fangio defenses are extremely informative and what I’m most proud of (douchey, I know, but it’s true.)

I hate even sounding like I’m saying I’m better than Howie as he’s the leagues best but continues to stick in my mind what if last draft went my way: R1 Will Johnson R2 Harold Fannin R3 Xavier Watts or Josiah Stewart You don’t sign Riq, TE better, SAF or EDGE set Draft OL and WR now

Current OT ranking w/3+ weeks left to draft: 1 - Blake Miller 2- Max Iheanachor (G if can’t fix technique) 3- Markel Bell 4- Carver Willis (prob slides to G, but can OT in a pinch) Assuming Freeling, Mauigoa, Fano gone by 23. Everyone else has to slide inside or major unpredictable body change.

Really happy to see Fred Johnson return, it actually surprised me - he should have a market and am sure he would be somewhere else if he had a starting job, but obviously does not. It helps the Eagles and he probably knows he is going to get significant snaps anyway.

I've come around to trading AJ. My thinking: - they are a better team with him - moving now saves $7M vs next yr, even degraded he is worth way more than that - however his value next year will be almost nothing, if you can get a premium pick now... - Mannion's offense shouldn't rely on 1:1 wins
