Researching an article on the Irish concrete poet and critic John Sharkey (1934-2014). Here he is in an early poem by Ian Hamilton Finlay set on the Orkney island of Rousay, ca. 1959-60. John is described as "the wild angel boy". He sets his boss's caravan on fire and quacks at the ducks.
