I purchased $300 worth of shelf-stable food and some less fragile fruits and vegetables at Costco and dropped at the local food bank. I prepared and took a healthy dinner to an elderly neighbor couple - vegetarian lasagne, a tossed salad, garlic bread and a bottle of wine. I am doing what I can.

I am a glutton for period pieces from Downton Abbey to Hotel Portofino to Seaside Hotel now to House of Guiness (now available on Netflix). I don’t know how they can’t proceed with a second season of House of Guiness. The first season was truly amazing.

Prices up……. I needed a few things at the market today for dinner. My eyes couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Two weeks ago I purchased fresh green beans for $1.99 a pound. Today they were $2.29. Zucchini two weeks ago was $.99 a pound. Today $1.69. PedoPrez tariffs and ICE arrests at work.

My comments about the Hands Off protests yesteryday. I attended the protest at the Georgia Capitol. It was well attended. I have seen photos and reports of the thousands of similar protests. There was no violence, no smearing feces, no killing police with American flags. These were peaceful.
