Believe it or not, the one thing I'm looking for forward to with the Switch 2 is playing the new Madden on it. We haven't had a new Madden on a Nintendo system since Madden 13, so playing a brand new Madden on a Nintendo system, especially a handheld, is going to be awesome!

Mario Party 9 is a game that's not very well received and pretty hated, but the game actually isn't bad, and I am here to defend it! 🎨: Xanarky27 on Twitter 🔗: youtu.be/gyNEK5YRWOQ

The only bad part about the Persona 4 Remake is how insufferable some fans are going to be because it's a remake. People are going to say it's the horrible unplayable game because of a few changes/tweaks. And since P4 has a bunch of fans, it's probably going to be amped a bit

greg56.bsky.social @greg56.bsky.social · 15/03/2025

I'm looking up old Mario Party reviews for a video, and for 8, Game Informer & Gamespot thought Mario Party was getting so stale, they were saying Rayman Raving Rabbids was severely outshining Mario Party lol

I'm thinking about Omori again and fuck man that game is so fucking goated man literally one of the best games I've ever played

Skimmed through the Pokémon Direct, and wow, Pokémon Legend Z-A actually looks decent and not complete dogshit! That's what happens when you actually take your time on stuff and not develop two major games at once while rushing lol

Am I the only one fascinated how nobody really talks about Bayonetta anymore? A decade ago, 2 was considered one of the killer titles of the Wii U, and did the impossible; made a goonerbait game good. The it seems like after 3, nobody seems to talk about Bayonetta anymore.

I still find it baffling and funny how Nintendo made a bunch of "classic consoles" and Switch Online virtual console for the 8 bit, 16 bit, and 64 bit era, but then conveniently stop right before they reach the actual interesting generations lol

I want to upgrade to a New Nintendo 3DS to do more with it, but holy hell why are the cheapest like $200? Why is it cheaper to get a Switch Lite? Why is a console that came out a decade ago still $200?

greg56.bsky.social @greg56.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

I don't blame you. For me as a longtime Sonic fan, it's more a 7.5-8/10. The cool scenes were the coolest in the trilogy, but also the comedy scenes are the worst in the trilogy

120

greg56.bsky.social @greg56.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

It was the first game in the series since 2013, so that's one of the main reasons why

000

greg56.bsky.social @greg56.bsky.social · 16/01/2025

After the failure of the Wii U, Nintendo pretty much had no choice but to call it the Switch 2 lol

I speak for EVERYONE when I say they should make another Pilotwings game the main launch title for the Switch 2

It's crazy to think if Sega was in the console business for another 7 years, Persona 3 on the Dreamcast could've been a very slight possibility :0

020

greg56.bsky.social @greg56.bsky.social · 07/01/2025

I saw Sonic 3 yesterday, and it was an overall solid movie! The cool moments were definitely the best in the trilogy, but the comedy moments were also definitely the worst in the trilogy

I don't mind preferences for other versions, but it's legitimately weird to me how the vocal minority will tell you straight up no sarcasm and swear on their entire soul and bloodline that FES/Portable is better than Reload and think your stupid for thinking otherwise

I finally finished playing Omori today, and I can finally say that it is a fantastic game. The last few hours are especially goated, this is a 10/10 game that I highly recommend!

As much as I like joking about the Game Awards as everyone else, I genuinely think this years was their best in a while. They took alot of the criticism from the past few years and used it to massively improve upon it, and even used it to actually highlight the game devs. Overall a fun award show.

Finished 3 Reload, 5/Royal and playing through 4 Golden, and ngl I'm actually pretty surprised 5/Royal didn't bring back the hands + golden ones. Always seemed like a very odd choice.
