Rat-tailed maggots live in water and breathe through a long, tail-like breathing tube that reaches the surface. As they grow, they transform into beautiful hoverflies, which fly from flower to flower and help pollinate plants.

A really big #ThankYouThursday goes to staff from B&Q Lincoln who volunteered on Hillside garden this week. It was work they did painting the therapeutic garden fence and laying slabs in the compound, & B&Q also donated key stocks, plants paints and a storage container. Thank you so much!
