Just cleaning a donated #bicycle prior to checking it over ready for reuse. This one was in a shelter but under some large trees. I think I bought quite a lot of tree home with it!

I thought my University advert at the local railway station looked a bit shabby, but on closer inspection it's been designed to look "distressed". Weird.

A wet, cool #Autumn evening, so the perfect time to have the maslin pan bubbling away with the initial ingredients for apple & sultana #chutney. Should end up with about 8lbs (it's an old, pre-metric handwritten recipe!).

Maslin pan on the hob with apples, carrots, onions, garlic and mustard seeds simmering in a pint of malt vinegar.

It's a lovely wet Bank Holiday Saturday so I'm doing the traditional thing of trying to make my bathroom fit for human habitation again. First person to say "you missed a bit" wins the star prize of cleaning it themselves for the next decade.
