It's not because it's legal to exploit nature or kill trees, etc. that you HAVE to. If it's unethical, unsustainable, warmongering, damaging in any way, then don't do it, don't invest in it. Instead divest to regenerative carbon neutral, circular local economy. Anything else is precious time lost.

Sadly and expectedly. I reiterate my advocacy for banning burn offs and pile burns. They are the MAIN cause of fires in NZ. Why continue?! How much carbon do burn offs emits? Is this acceptable in climate emergency? Specially when branches can be mulched, providing goodness for the land. #choice

The best solution for climate change is not to plant trees, it's to stop using fossil fuels and chemicals that emit more pollution than the nature can cope with. It's to stop destroying nature so that it can cope. It's keeping all trees we do have.
