Watching my son in the front row of church, hands in the air in worship, asking for prayer. But four days ago, he was caught writing $28,000 in fraudulent checks. I want to believe he hit rock bottom and now he’s building his way back up, but is it all an act?

I once had to appear at an unemployment hearing. The judge asked the terminated employee if he had anything else to add. “Yeah, I just want to add that I will be 2 years sober tomorrow.” I love that he said that. You’re awesome, John. You’re still fired, but you’re awesome.
