Probably the game I've played the most number of times from beginning to end.

Jeuri @green-tea-snake.bsky.social · 08/11/2025

I thought I had watched this already but turns out I haven't. Adding it to my watchlist (it's available on the Criterion Channel!)

That sounds fun actually. (As long as it happened during daytime of course.)

It hit me the other day when comparing profiles with coworkers just how wildly different we all are in terms of what we look for and what we get out of games. Even when playing the same ones we engage with them in vastly different ways.

Ophüls's best American film by a country mile. Fontaine was fantastic in this, I don't think I've seen a better performance from her.

I'm not someone who is ever really affected by celebrity deaths, but I almost cried when I heard about Danya's passing. I've watched 100s of hrs of his videos & have recommended his content to almost everyone I know who plays. He was the internet's favorite chess teacher for a reason. RIP Sensei.

Great video on why Sea of Stars fails (spoiler: it's the writing. The writing was bad. Really bad.) Easily one of the most disappointing video games I've ever played. youtube.com/watch?v=ddlx...

I love love love Kieslowski! Always glad to see another fan. Great list as usual. I wouldn't even know how to start making a list for this prompt.

I hate that I have to go to Manhattan to watch movies in a theater so I only go once, maybe twice, a year, but ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER was so damn good I might actually be okay with going again.

In my top 5 all-time favorites. What a beautiful film.

Just played for a bit and got to 5. I'll beat the high score and be sole leader soon.

This was the first Keaton I ever saw. Was shown this in film history class in HS and was blown away. I've been a fan ever since.

this exists it is called thinking

Matthew McConaughey says he wants a private LLM, fed only with his books, notes, journals, and aspirations, so he can ask it questions and get answers based solely on that information, without any outside influence.

Played this for the first time a week ago and it's surprisingly good!! Far superior to the first game in every way. Suffers from some silly design customs from the time (like random pitfalls in the middle of rooms, bad checkpoints, etc) but I'd definitely replay it. What a gem.

I vote B. I personally don't like waiting for future installments and tend to lose interest over time (unless it's beyond amazing.) You can try doing what they did with Metaphor: ReFantazio. They released the first 5 or so hours as a demo, and your progress carried over into the main game.

Not claiming to be great at stealth games, but I am somewhat surprised at how much I'm struggling with Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. I'm not stuck, but am progressing much slower than I think I should. Maybe playing on "Hardcore" difficulty on first playthrough wasn't the smartest decision.

Don't work this week. Planning on: - watching a lot of movies - finishing "Debout les morts" by Fred Vargas - beating Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - maybe sketching a bit?
