It’s honestly sad and exhausting to watch this cycle repeat itself. Instead of accepting a loss on his tariff policy, even after the Supreme Court (with justices he appointed) ruled against it, Trump immediately pivoted to trying a new version that will likely face the same legal fate.

Democrats should propose amendments to the SAVE act that require the government to furnish free IDs to all eligible voters before requiring them, automatically register all people to vote, expand mail-in voting, and create a national voting holiday. Then watch republicans block them.
