Be careful about just adding oil. If the light comes on you should confirm with the dipstick, because adding too much oil is bad too. YouTube can be your friend. You got this. There are some things it could certainly be other than just worn rings. Maybe like a bad PCV valve or something.

Motivation is huge. Your storytelling is so fun and unique, if your head is somewhere else in another story then it makes it hard to tell the story you want elsewhere. Taking a break doesn't mean abandoning it forever either. You could always pick it back up when the motivation returns.

Love digging into that ngs to find they've already been messed with. If you look you'll be able to see the one bolt in the back of the rocker assembly sticking up. Turns out 5 of the bolts were loose, 4 of which were stripped. That would explain the rocker noise. Glad I opened this up in any case.
