🎨🖌️ #VgenComm #ffxivart i drew a friend's WoL in his favorite outfit over on VGen! \o/ my vgen journey begins!

Pawsitive Friend from Siren, a male Miqo'te with black hair, stands confidently in black, armored mage robes with gold trimmings as a mote of magic hovers in his right hand. Two orange flames burn on the pauldrons of his armor.

i wrote a long post on the other site about the tendency for writers and artists to use the transgender label to excuse characters being written with certain genitalia

thread of posts from me, quoting a post reading:

"I think its obvious that some people only have trans headcanons for genitals in sex"

the thread goes:

"I notice this and it disappoints me a lot. Lets all be more aware and promote the widespread availability of bottom surgery

"Theres a lot going on about the whole discussion of gender in this post's subject matter but imo, to oversimplify things a Lot, in an ideal world where the discussion has progressed enough, even people who aren't trans can have the "other" genitalia if they want

"the vagina and penis and each their associated anatomy being either "masculine" or "feminine" is a result of the gender binary, which is a social construct. Fetishization is keeping the discussion of genitalia from moving forward from associations with the gender binary

"Some people, especially writers, might wonder, "well what do i do if i want abc feminine character to have a dick in my porn" or somesuch. It's a complicated answer if you want to be politically responsible but basically just consider if that makes them identify as Not their agab

"If, in this case, inexplicably having a dick doesn't get in the way of them identifying as a woman, i.e., they basically just Have it and are otherwise cis....then theyre not trans! Being trans is not about anatomy, it's about the relationship one has with gender

#XIV_Cierzo was a kid with an aether manipulation disability in a village of mages. he journeyed afar to find something about himself to be proud of, met his hero, the future warrior of light, and then...was transported to norvrandt, stranded for seven years.

🎨🖌️ #oc he's not evil.......i promise.....well, it's up to him

A drawing of Hong Liansio in pants and a dark purple coat against a yellow background. In the upper right corner is his name. In the upper left corner is the text "Once a god in the service of the pantheon of ██████, "███████" fell from grace in the incident of Cycle -324, wherein his latent abilities as a Dreamer became manifest in the awakening of the beast █████. Believing ███████ to be the cause of the awakening, his masters cast him from heaven and the underworld, exiling him to the mortal realm and taking the succor of sleep from his existence."

In the bottom right corner is the text "In the year ████, the god ███████ now walks among mortals using the name "Hong Liansio". Since his exile from the divine realms, the beast █████ has never awakened, proving the sleeplessness effective, and despite the terms of his sentence, Liansio carries out his duties as a psychopomp of ██████."

The text frames Liansio, but his silhouette is obscuring some of it.

i have created a tierlist showing how well #XIV_Cierzo would be able to learn and fight in each job. as u can see he has a hard time af with magic, and the bard and dancer placements might also vary because theyre very party buff-centric, which might also be an application of aether
