Spending time with these fantastic humans was the real highlight of 2024. @miramanga.bsky.social , #OnTableTop and #Modellingforadvantage had me on their shows, and it was wonderful to meet @planetsmashergames.bsky.social and @peachytips.bsky.social and #terrihooley at various events.

2024 was a weird one because it felt less productive than previous years of hobbying, but I still got a bunch of stuff done. The highlights were building 3 large dioramas, trips to Salute, UK Games Expo, and Gaelcon, and running a successful charity Paint & Take, in conjunction with Two Thin Coats.

From my dreadnought diorama! Trigger warning: mildly heretical.

My next diorama build has begun! This one is a little special too, and not just because it features Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn! This is my first project made in conjunction with Monument Hobbies, and it's also my first time trying Pro Acryl paints! #monumenthobbies #proacryl #diorama

Some of the cutest nurglings ever!! Definitely my favourite part of the new Kill Team Starter Set from Games Workshop. #warhammer #warhammer40000 #killteam #killteam40k #miniatures #nurgle #nurglings #deathguard

One week on from Gaelcon, I finally got the chance to paint my very own Paint & Take miniatures! Thanks to EireHobbies & Trans Atlantis Games for their support, and to all the painters who joined us. It's so cool to hear that many of you painted your very first miniature at the Paint & Take!

Now I can kitbash with the best of them, but I think that making this work is beyond even me. Somewhere out there is a Corvus Blackstar box with two of the other sprues in it. Lol #seeingdouble #buildingminiatures #buildingwarhammer #warhammercommunity #wh40k #warhammer #wargaming #deathwatch

Four more dioramas that were inspired by classic movies or Warhammer novels. Please consider subscribing to my YouTube channel to discover how I made these grim dark miniature nightmares! youtube.com/@grayprimer #WarhammerCommunity #miniatures #nerdlings #paintingwarhammer #dioramas #warhammer

I make dioramas that are often inspired by classic movies and Warhammer novels. Then I make a video explaining how I built them and post it here: youtube.com/@grayprimer The channel is quite small, but I put a lot of heart into these dioramas. ❤️

Late 80s Blood Bowl hooked me, and has never let go.

A destroyed Warlord Titan is unceremoniously displayed on the Imperial Palace walls. I was inspired by the line: "They have crucified Titans along the Ultimate Wall" (Dan Abnett, The End and The Death, Vol. 1). #paintingwarhammer #legionsimperialis #warhammer youtu.be/oUO15XMS5hI?...
