Pastoe - Frits Loeb ging in 1913 meubels maken onder de naam Utrechtsche Machinale Stoel- en Meubelfabriek (UMS). Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog koos het bedrijf een nieuwe koers met ontwerpen die bij iedereen pasten. Dit 'passe partout'-principe leidde tot de nieuwe merknaam PasToe.

Republika Srpska’s government has directed millions of dollars in public funds toward lobbying firms and political consultants connected to Donald Trump, including individuals with direct access to him, in order to undo US sanctions, and gain support for its separatist movement.

Meanwhile, Trump-connected political advisers Chris LaCivita and James Blair received substantial consulting payments connected to Republika Srpska. Both travelled to Bosnia during the October election campaign and attended Dodik’s party’s victory celebrations. Other US consultants retained by the government were photographed at the party’s final campaign rally.

Their presence raises questions about whether government-funded lobbying crossed into partisan election assistance, potentially violating Bosnian laws prohibiting the use of public resources for political campaigns. Attendance alone does not establish a violation, and the precise services provided by the consultants have not been publicly established.

The financial relationships also intersect with major US government decisions. In October 2025, following a lobbying campaign explicitly seeking sanctions relief, the Trump administration removed sanctions against Dodik, his family and associated entities. A lobbying firm connected to former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich received $700,000 in consulting fees on the same day.

Dodik has met Vladimir Putin repeatedly since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He has also been received by Benjamin Netanyahu, who publicly congratulated Dodik and his allies on their October election victory.

On election night, Dodik thanked both Trump and Putin.

The outstanding questions concern how millions in public money were spent, whether government contracts financed partisan political assistance, and whether paid access to influential figures affected US policy toward a separatist leadership. The payments and political contacts are documented; unlawful coordination or purchased government decisions have not been established.

Raket - Ola bracht de eerste Raket-ijsjes in 1962 in de markt. De ruimtevaart was op dat moment flink in opkomst - de Rus Gagarin was het jaar ervoor als eerste mens in de ruimte geweest - dus het is niet vreemd dat men voor naam en vorm van het waterijsje op de raket uitkwam.
