Loving Edinburgh. Extremely in love with it, in fact. In another life I came here for Uni (I got accepted but chose London) and I'm not having/regrets/ but I am thinking about /future things/. I may have read my tarot this morning witch has left me in an introspective mood.

Urgh, some days really pile it on. Best of luck getting through it! Here's a bonus snowy Pine Marten in these trying times.

A pine marten standing on its hind legs on a snowy field, snow falling in the background amongst the trees as it gazes out at something distant.

Sharing some Sonny pics in honour of the marvelous day of Ewa ✨

Sonny, ginger cat, lying on a sofa with his head all turned around and paws in all directions. Despite everything he looks very comfy

Sonny, ginger cat, has made a den in a 'wooly cave' cat bed. Only his front paws, curled inwards just so, and a bit of a whiskey face and fluffy tummy are visible.

Happy Force Day! ✨ Don't tell Kreia SW came into my life at a very pivotal and formative time and has continued to be there through a lot of tough and glorious times, I'll always look fondly upon it in its many, varied, iterations. Still rooting for an Acolyte return, and a Dr Aphra show or film.

Me, dressed as a Corellian 'Green Jedi' with a lit lightsaber (yellow) standing in front of th mural from Rebels and Ashoka that shows the crew of the Ghost and two mystical Loth Wolves.

Me, dressed as I normally am (cool shawl, harness belt) with an unlit lightsaber.
I'm posing exaggeratedly with Rosario Dawson who is throwing a peace sign in the style that Brits use to swear. Her heel is charmingly raised high off the ground.

Got the 'into the sun' Outer Worlds ending. 10/10 would play again

The starship 'The Hope' from The Outer Worlds sailing blissfully into the sun of the Halcyon system, following the Captain of the Unreliable attempting to do the math for the skip jump themselves in place of their AI computer.

deadline.com/2025/04/nick... Rest in peace to an excellent character actor who played a nuanced lost Jedi in KotOR II. Something about Atton has always stuck with me, and a bunch of that is down to the performance.

Art of Atton Rand from Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, as played by Nicky Katt.

Dinner and Mario Galaxy movie was a good laugh.

QTP with a game that has a 10/10 soundtrack --- I went overboard and posted 4 because I couldn't help myself and I love a lot of game soundtracks. Further honourable mention to: Perfect Dark, Age of Mythology, Knights of the Old Republic 2, and Dishonored 2.

Deltarune
The three main characters stand in front of a pillar of blue energy.

Lost Records Bloom and Rage
The four leads make their way across a log bridge in the wilderness

Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire
Serefen, Eder, Maia, Aloth and Pellagina bear arms against an unseen threat whilst Ishiza the bird companion flies overhead and a ghostly skull looms behind

Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
Collectors edition box art with the iconic Majora's Mask present

Listening to the Outer Worlds soundtrack on vinyl is not the best choice for Boxing Day, it's Spacer's Choice! (Hope is such a great title track, deserves more love)

Bonus pictures of some excellent Christmas friends I've been spending time with 💖

Red cat.
Name: Sonny, Sunbeam, Suncat, Bunny, Bouncey Catchap, Red Menace, That Cat, Son
He is sitting in a box, his cheeky face visible.
The box says "warning: if left empty and unattended this box will contain a cat."
And "prepared for your favourite predator".

Left: silver tabby cat Jellybean. A stripey delight who is feared across the seven kingdoms of North Devon.
Right: my face

Snake dog

Some animal friends I've made or met recently! Long time fan of your work and ways; may there be joyful things on the horizon to help!

A tortoiseshell cat known in a part of Exeter as the Station Cat, being pet by my friend's hand (they are enjoying the pets).

A cute lamb with white wool and a black face and legs. It was standing atop a mound near some bracken when me and my friends passed through.

Mochi the bunny rabbit. He is a sleek soft grey dwarf rabbit with lil whiskers and a boopable snoot. He rests here on a bed.

The lovely woodpecker living in a tree in my garden. Photo was quite zoomed in but it has black and white plumage (spotted on the underside) with red accents on the neck and trousers. They are feeding their young that is on the tree

Onwards to Kyoto and Nara ✨ Japan is such a beautiful country.

Shinkuku. Tall, brightly and colourfully lit buildings with cars passing by.

Mt Fuji in the distance, as seen from a train window.

A pair of elongated shadows (ours) stretching down a sunbaked side street in Kyoto. Buildings are packed in closely on either side with a beautiful blue sky overhead.

Taken from the side of the Kamo river in central Kyoto. The sun has recently set and lights twinkle on the water.

Aw she's precious. Whippets are good and excellent friends who deserve many pets (and your guilt). Here's my mum's whippet Sidney (Sidders) smiling his silly sleep smile.

Sidney, a whippet dog of some renown, is sleeping on a yellow blanket with grey-white floral pattern. He has a yellow collar and sandy brown fur, his paws are stuck out in a silly ppse and he's got his mouth open as if smiling

How it's going: (Post builder visit, he found the leak! It's eaten through two floors. Hungry water. I am now a nomad in my flat *Mad Maxi music plays*)

Big ole hole in my ceiling. Beams exposed (not poles), another hole is visible beyond as it's a two floor job situation due to the construction) a bit of my room is also visible (it's cute)

Oh, oh no. I'm not entirely sure what my dream decided the dripping sound was, but I remember waking up and being like "oh that's normal" and it took a surprisingly long moment to hit home what was happening. One rapid evacuation of the important stuff later and I sit awaiting the Mario.

Big ole crack in my ceiling with water damage around it (it's leaking).

What a wonderful game. I wasn't expecting it to feel *this much* like classic Pillars of Eternity, despite it being set in the same setting. It is a really excellent blend of classic Pillars and something new (evoking obvious Elder Scrolls and Outer Worlds comparisons). Having fun as a Court Augur

My Avowed Envoy.

A Godlike, Nayeli has gray hair with blue highlights, green-brown branch-like 'horns' and some floral growths on their face. They are pale, with blue-black makeup, the black is faded and runs in two streaks down their face, akin to warpaint. A touch of blue dons their lower lip.

They are wearing a rich blue, gold and white formal armoured jerkin and are weilding a bow and quiver. Behind them is the green-brown landscape of the Dawnshore.

Without downloading any new pictures where are you mentally?

A large bronze rat with significant whiskers stares into the mid distance. Whilst the inner workings of the bronze rat's mind remain opaque and unknowable to us, there is something haunted and distant about their expression. It could be they are trying to remember if they left the oven on, or it could be that they are questionable to all the good and bad things happening in their world.

Perhaps the rat is spiralling and could use a friendly hug

Made a new friend this Christmas. A tuxedo chap who has taken to visiting my Dad and his two cats of an evening. Enjoys some food, but mostly seems to be there for the company - very chatty and enjoys watching TV.

Me, a pink-green haired Human in a dark blue Dorian Storm shirt holding a glass of whiskey. Him, a tuxedo cat with a white smudge on his nose and a regal disposition. Sitting on a sofa watching something nerdy.

Hi alt text. It's an 'I'm on Bluesky get to know me better' list isn't it, there's a bunch of questions for me to answer if you like it. Also a butterfly.

Just another part of my attempt to actually use this, rather than just reposting funny things I see a lot.
