Not at all! That's very strange as everyone else was visible? Just checked the banned list and you aren't there so no automod has picked you up or anything. If it happens again let me know.

I'm sorry for the lack of streaming, I've been busy and it's been too warm in the room when I've had the opportunity. I'm really wanting to get back to FH6 although I'm not sure when as I'm going away for 2 weeks! Ironically somewhere warm 😅 See you on the other side, there WILL be more Forza!

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

The original is literally one of my favourite films and for the most part has aged very well. I have ZERO interest in a remake, when the original is that good.

Happy pride month! There is a lot of negativity around at the moment, but this is a month for celebrating inclusivity and diversity and we should celebrate and embrace it. No one should be afraid of being who they are, despite what some people say. Go and be the person you are! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

It's too warm in the room and I have the hayfever 😞 I'll have to postpone the Forza stream, sorry all! I will stream more Forza during the week 😃

Errr. Thanks to an unbelievably slow download speed (and me only starting the download before getting home) Tonight's stream is moved to tomorrow, where HOPEFULLY the game will have completed it's download. Sorry all!

Image showing the Forza Horizon 6 download nowhere near close to being completed.

So... Forza Horizon 6 OFFICIALLY launches tomorrow and I'm very excited to play it. 7:30pm BST tomorrow join me as I go in to this game completely blind! twitch.tv/grassomaniac

They've improved massively! But for me... Renault 5..... Car renewal can't get here fast enough neeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddd

111

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

You could get the bigger battery version......

120

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

Oh man yes! I also managed once to cook my RAM on an old PC as I somehow managed to install the wrong type into the motherboard. Cue dead motherboard and RAM and new PC to be built. Thankfully that doesn't seem to be a thing anymore either too, hasn't stopped me being paranoid though!

seem.tk

110

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

So do I! PCs did use to be a lot less complicated to build with fewer cables too (Although I have enjoyed just being able to fire the PC up and not mess about reinstalling windows, that was DEFINITELY not something you could do years ago!)

120

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

Arise dead PC arrriiiissseeee! New motherboard and CPU installed, BIOS updated (to protect CPU) and stress test complete! Looks like I'm up and running, so hopefully back to some shenanigans soon! (On a side note, even with thermal paste applied correctly, wow do i9's run hot!)

140

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

I have a new CPU replaced under warranty, yay! The CPU socket on the motherboard has some bent pins and some seem to be missing, boo! I could possibly bend back the bent pins but I'm not risking it, seeing as some seem to have broken, so a new motherboard it is! Frustrating, but could be worse.

040

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

Just pulled the CPU out of the PC (ignore the thermal paste) and I do see what looks to be some discolouration round the edges? Yes I think this is a dead CPU.

010

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

Mine didn't run overclocked either, the PC was "overbuilt" on purpose for longevity purposes

100

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

So thanks to @nekodiva.com's technical support, it would seem that my CPU is dead and it was barely 2 years old! It seems I may be a victim of Intel's i9 issues. I'll get an i7 as replacement and claim warranty because 2 years life is poor! It means I have no idea when I'll stream again!! Sorry!

140

Grassomaniac @grassomaniac.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

Rest up and thanks for your help! Hopefully we found the fault, even if it's an expensive fix. And yes larger desk so PC can live on it! I don't like the fact it lives on the floor but have no choice currently
