This is a trick question in our book! Cause the answer is literally ALL OF THEM! Immerse yourself in every single genre you can find! And don't just read them or casually watch them. Really get into the brass tacks and take notes! And if your setting has a genre, focus on that genre!

The Ratinac Shipping Union has been a thorn in Rodney Copperseed's side for 6 seasons. They want revolutionary things like guaranteed lunch hours, overtime pay for when a voyage takes longer than scheduled, increased wages, and *worst* of all, labor rights for the 4th district factories! How awful!

#poem #prose #writing We're all still climbing. Even if we can't tell how far we're getting. Keep going, okay?

How many steps has it been so far?
You can barely remember that first one, can you?
How high was it? How much taller than you?
It must have felt impossible.

But look at you now.
Climbing dozens every day.
Sometimes without noticing.
Have you ever thought to look back,
and see how far up you are?

Bet it's dizzying. Exhilarating too.
You're not just at the top of Everest.
You've gone way past that, kid.
I'm proud of you.

Proud of that little child,
who made the difficult choice.
The first choice.
The best choice of their lives.

You made it.
Now keep going, okay?

Issue, after issue, after issue... But... the video is finally rendering an hour before the deadline. However unfortunately this means we will not reach our mark for getting this video out in time, as it takes 1.5 hours to render and 3 hours to upload. So it will be live Monday at 6pm. #ttrpg

a snip of the rendering bar for Great Paw episode 23 in Kden Live. Showing it to be on frame 19,494 with 1 hour, 32 minutes and 46 seconds left to fully render.

The way we see it? Gen AI has no place in games, art, writing, or life in general. It is thoroughly a destructive and theft-ridden technology built on a foundation of stolen work and fascist ideology to its very core. Using it at all deteriorates the soul of a work and betrays your fellow artist.

The most emotional moment was the end of the first campaign me and my brother ever ran. It was a Back to the Future campaign run in #pathfinder2e that was a precursor to #frontierofman on the @grassfinder.bsky.social channel. Details in the image and alt text.

We were co-GMs, and we gave one of our players, who's character had lost their memories and became a skeleton wracked with a sense of guilt he did not understand, a choice:

slowly forget everything and become a human again with a family who loves him...

...or...

...remember, and stay with his new friends as a skeleton.

This campaign had been running for quite some time. At least 2 and half to 3 years by my recollection. He had forged genuine relationships with the other characters, and we laughed, cried and had epic moments multiple times over the sessions.

His player cried for 2 hours while struggling to make the decision. We were all on the verge of crying or outright crying. But in the end, he chose to forget. And in doing so, changed the entire course of the follow up campaign, Frontier of Man, by erasing a key villain from the timeline, who was created in the same ritual as his character.

In the Great Paw region, there are rumored to be 3 stones. The Eyes, the Ears, and the Soul. One serves dominion. One lifts the multitude. And one follows the Wind. All three are weapons, but also tools in the right hands. Depends on how they're used. #ttrpg #pathfinder2e #greatpaw

The 4th district of Ratinac city has no labor laws, no pollution regulations, and is objectively the worst place to live in the entire city (and district 3 is a wasteland). All of this is because of the machinations of Seedy Hall in 5th district, run by Rodney Copperseed. #ttrpg #greatpaw #pf2e

Raise your hand if your games have subtle (or not so subtle) commentary on stuff that's happening today. Plotlines that remark on the political climate. Villains that are very similar to real villains of the world. Quests that have the heroes right wrongs we wish we could right IRL. etc. #ttrpg
