it's also a directorial debut of its creators. As i said before - I don't think just because of that people shouldn't be able to say their honest opinion, but we should be more understanding, ESPECIALLY when somebody is calling themselves a fan of animation (4/4)

and is considered as "woke" in some way. White and cishet people make terrible media all the time, and it's never hated as much as bad queer media. What makes me sad even more about this whole situation is fact that this movie is not only from the indie studio, but (3/4)

but it's hard to avoid the impression that people in this case are just looking for a scapegoat to torment, and for some (not so suprising) reason, whenever the internet fixates on some cartoon to turn it into the public enemy, it’s almost always work that features minorities (2/4)

I'm glad I recently see more people that also think LSP hate is blown out of proportion. I don't want to say that we shouldn't criticize it, because I believe that works of culture should be subject of criticizm, (1/4)

For Trans Day of Visibility, come support a project run by 2 trans husbands with a bunch of trans artists participating! 🩵🤍🩷 We've Always Been Here is filled with queer art set all throughout history, all over the world. Only 2 days left on Kickstarter! www.kickstarter.com/projects/tap... #TDoV

A digital illustration of a T4T couple posing together, the man kissing the woman on the nose. They wear Victorian-era clothing with the trans man in a blue suit jacket and brown pants, the woman in a pink dress with various jewelry and accessories. There are blue and pink banners on the top and bottom of the graphic, together reading "We wish you a joyous Trans Day of Visibility".

Of course there isn't, but I understand him that he wants to prevent some major mistakes. He's an artist, and I think it's his right for wanting to be in control with translations.

I personally also think that "just learn English" is very ignorant and classist response, but I still think that doesn't mean that author of some series owes you translation. My mom also doesn't know English, when she was younger she also doesn't have a chance to learn it, but when I told her (1/2)

I'm really interested in peacefull discussion with somebody why are latino fans acting like that. I'm also not native English speaker and I'm really confused about this drama

Grapki @grapki.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

I try to understand latino fans but I just can't. There's a lot of media without translation for my native language, and I'd never act like that towards author I like just because they doesn't include my language. Especially in that case. Like, yeah, translations are cool, but nobody owes you shit.

It's not the same at so many levels....

0110

Grapki @grapki.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

Searching for malicious intent in it is, in my opinion, overinterpretation. Translations are very useful things, and it's good that they are existing to make somebody's work more accessible, but we have to realize that NOBODY owes us creating one. (3)

Grapki @grapki.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

From the perspective of someone whose first language is not English, who plans to do a Polish translation of DELTARUNE, and someone who wants to publish my own original story in the future - Toby's decision seems for me like reasonable and natural thing to do. (2)

Grapki @grapki.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

This whole drama makes me upset on so many levels. I think people don't realize how hard making proper translation is, especially when we're talking about games like UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE. (1)

Also I think the reformed and grown-up Cozy is still kinda cocky, and she tends to be distrustful of everyone around her except Flurry. Flurry sometimes gets irritated by Cozy's behavior, but she has a soft spot for her anyways.

010

Grapki @grapki.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

But seriously - I headcanon that Flurry Heart released Cozy Glow from stone when she was around the same age as Cozy, believing that she was treated unfairly and she (Flurry) was the first person in Cozy's life to notice her good side. They created a bond and fell in love.
