Thank you @dukeofsilver.bsky.social, for commissioning the incredible artist @sandforte.bsky.social for this beautiful piece if my character, Izabelle. I am in awe, it's so gorgeous. She looks amazing! This made my day!

Izabelle, red-haired vampire rogue, striking a fire pose, holding her knife and smiling with glee.

Okay, I'm gonna let friends decide this. I currently have two playthroughs of DS3 going. A knight one and an assassin one. They're both at the same point. But which should I stick with? Knight Assassin

Nah, I knew what it was gonna be. Assassi- I'm joking, I'll put a vote down for knight.

Vod 21 of "As the Wilds Wither" is up. And this was a very talk heavy episode. But I loved it so much. Probably the sweetest, and gayest, it's been. youtu.be/KDKrPvGSPUc?...

Playing DS3 after so long, and going through some of the worst Elden Ring has to offer, felt like a warm hug. I felt so comfortable and cozy. God I love that game.

The demo for the new Castlevania game is really good and has me very excited for the game. Also my spark for writing is back.

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

But uh... yeah. Promised Consort Radahn is so bad it was actively giving the same feelings I had when I was in an abusive relationship. So that's a quote for your fucking box I guess.

Return to this since it's been nearly a day since I wrote it. Overall, kinda impressed I was able to get most of my thoughts out. I still stand by most of what I said (maybe throwing DS2 in there was a bit much).

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I'm still gonna stick through it till the end. This is just some ranting thoughts. But fuck, I hate that I want to love game and it won't let me.

020

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

And I think the worst part about all of this, people tell me that this game expands on a lot concepts in DS2 and that it's basically a sequel. Well if that's the case then I never... EVER want to touch 2. EVER! Because why would I want to play a worse version of something I feel apathetic towards?

130

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

"Graphy, it's a post apocalypse." So is Breath of the Wild, and that game feels alive and lived in. It flounders its fucking concept. But hey music is good.

120

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Whenever the game condescenses, it becomes fine but it's a major step down from DS3's level design. And like, this is an open world game... I'm already sick of those but this doesn't translate well at all. It feels empty.

130

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

The amount of times I have gotten close to beating this fucker only for him to pull some bullshit and insta kill me is uncountable at this point. He cheats all the time. His hit boxes fuxking suck. And it's just lame. You wanted to fight him at his peak because strong? Lame, you're lame, fuck you!

120

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I like the characters, but it's hard to get invested when all of their quests end the exact same fuxking way. The naming convention is stupid. Miquella is stupid. Radahn is a boring character and they brought him back as the worst fight in the game.

120

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

The open world is a neat concept I just wish they did more with it, because the world feels dry and barren. Every eh-below average fight is copy and pasted all over the place making me resent them. A lot of story beats have amazing build up, only for the pay off to be lack luster.

120

Graphy @graphisinsain.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Elden Ring makes me feel like I am in an abusive relationship. For the amount of times this game feels like it is the best Fromsoft has ever delivered, there are 2 things that are the worst it has ever been ever. On top of that, a lot of the things I'm neutral on feel half baked.

Metroid Fusion. This game would define a lot about what I love in media. Rich atmosphere, compelling characters (Samus is very underrated in this, she's pretty funny), great music, amazing art direction and the game is so creepy! Oh I love it. If you want the most "Graphy-game," it's this.
