I don't think anyone is doing it like Game Master Monday in general but boy howdy for sure nobody is doing it like Taz. This is "weaving mechanics into the story" in a way that slowly lures you into realizing what's going on the split second when it's too late. It's so seamless. God this rules.

Not to mention the dedication to how the story is presented. Unscripted first person is SUCH a challenge. But Taz is a genius at it and tapping Joe to be their partner, someone who is no stranger to waxing fucked up poetry, was the insanely right choice. No script. All play. Still haunting.

The thing that always impresses me how Taz approaches a project is how much you can FEEL she cares and knows about the topic. An homage to classic slashers, a complicated sapphic story, the insane detail and historical accuracy she jams into their performance AND sound design. Fuckin unreal.

Well surely in terms of musical footprint, Murphy's have the "biggest" celtic punk song but in terms of sure volume of known hits, Molly's got 'em beat. That said, Dropkick Murphy's body Flogging Molly in a fight. I don't think many bands in ANY genre beat a band with "dropkick" in their name
