I kindof have a full project docket right now. I'm working on like 5 pieces of fanart, I'm sewing some things, and the eternal project is, of course, eternal. It feels nice to be busy.

I haven't forgotten about you bsky. Things have just been kindof crazy, in a mostly good way. I've found a community that has been helping me feel so much better about myself. I've gotten back into both digital and physical art and streaming. I keep a daily art journal now.

I started a pride group in my small town last year, and we held a meetup event that managed to get about 10 people. This year, we just had our second meetup, a float down the river in town, and we got around 20 people.

Progress pics of a the Best Garlic Sourdough Bread With Rosemary from Farmhouse on Boone. Like every recipe from them I've followed, it worked up wonderfully and tastes great. #sourdough #breadsky #baking #bread

Made some baked sourdough discard papusa type guys from some sourdough tortilla dough that gave me stickiness issues. Will definitely be tinkering the recipe with slightly less salt and olive oil in the dough and more cheese in the filling. #breadsky

Baked, cheese filled, papusa-type buns made from tortilla dough that had sat a bit too long in the fridge. Pictured are the stitched bottoms pointing up. they are sitting on a cooling rack.

So, February 21, I started an experiment to wild catch yeast from blueberries, and it has led here. My first loaf of bread made from my active sourdough starter. On the March 11, I lost the main jar, Bluebread Prime, which I kept in the fridge to some sort of infection. #breadsky

Bread dough in a bowl, after it's last set of coil folds, before going in the fridge to sit overnight. The bread dough is spotted with whole wheat.

Fresh from the oven boule (round loaf) of sourdough on a cooling rack. The tips of the scoured part of the bread have scorched to a deep brown.

So, I ended up baking the recipe for sourdough discard cookies from Farmhouse on Boone, and they turned out great. Cakey enough that they stay soft in the fridge, and not insanely sweet. The only thing, which was a plus, was that I ended up with 39 cookies, not 24. #cookies

Bluebread the Pirate has, for the first time not only doubled, but more than doubled. I started feeding him at night so he would be around his peak when I wake up. #breadsky

Sourdough starter in a mason jar. A rubberband is less than half the height of the sourdough in the jar, showing that the sourdough has more than doubled in size since feeding.

My sourdough grows stronger. I harvested the yeast in this bad boy from blueberries. This is his first full week as a starter. His name is Bluebread the Pirate. #breadsky

Jar of sourdough starter on a counter. The jar is marked with a rubber band just below two-thirds up the starter, marking where the starter was when fed, before growing.

Got bored today and decided to experiment with a blooming quilt square. I'm not normally a quilt-y person, but this was fun. I might start storing a box of mismatched blocks I make over time to make something bigger. #craftsky

A quilting block, made to look like a flower, with a yellow with white flecks square center, and petals made of half and full squares of varying shades of pink with white flecks moving outward. The whole thing measures about 9 inches on a side.

Had to make a pair of pants longer, because I'm a tall, so I present my first attempt at that. Added about 2 and a half inches.

Pair of jean legs, with fabric added to lengthen them. The jeans are blue, the fabric is patterned with stars and shooting stars, with a galaxy background.

For #halloween I was a wizard. I made my hat, cloak, staff, spellbook, demon and owl familiars, and the belt holsters for the spellbook, my wands, and my familiar. I used up all of my creative juices during october, but I think it turned out really cool.

Me wearing a halloween costume, almost every part of the costume is handmade. The cloak comes down to mid calf, there are wands and a spellbook hung from one hip, and a demon doll hung from the other. There is an owl pinned to my hat, and a staff that is over 6 feet tall.
