Remember those days five years ago when everyone with any sense of decency was standing together after George Floyd’s death? I was one of them. Remember all the protests against Confederate statues? I was there. So were hundreds of people ready to kill us. I saw the dark side of humanity 1st hand.

Once kids were pretty grown I started phone banking for Obama and haven’t stopped being involved. I know about discrimination against women. We came a long way, Baby. Saw the “whites” only signs as a child. Will those come back? We have reversed course and headed back to dark ages. It must stop!

I have always been political, writing to TX Governor Connally when very young as well as Congress men and women. Still calling and writing them even when I know they have orange lips. Protesting?
