En septiembre de 2025, Tether tomó el control mayoritario de la empresa argentina de agronegocios Adecoagro. A través de Adecoagro ahora posee 217.810 ha de tierras agrícolas en Argentina, así como plantas de fertilizantes y fábricas de procesamiento de alimentos.
