Just musing on the old days when you'd take photos, hand the film in at the chemist's, wait a few days, go and collect the photos and negatives, and be entertained by a lady from the local musical theatre singing "Some Day My Prints Will Come".

I'd love to credit whoever wrote this. No idea. But I'm 100% with its message. When I think of how the '80s ethos, "Greed is Good" has metastasized, it surprises and depresses me. Imagine having so many millions, hundred of millions, even billions & caring about nothing except your own vanity.

More votes for @countbinface.bsky.social, I'm sure, if he promised to ban certain phrases, including: "See it, say it, sorted." "Your call is important to us." "We take [whatever] extremely seriously."
