I don't think Trump voters give a rip about democracy. They voted for him because they knew he would hurt people they envy and resent. These are people who measure their own happiness by the comparitive misery of others. That's the only way they can feel joy.

They know he's lying, but more importantly, they know he is upsetting all of the people they resent. Republicans are people who measure their own happiness by the misery of others. The more Trump hurts us, the happier they must be.

It was awkward. While I think she is as obnoxious as all get-out, she at least seemed able to speak during her TV appearances. This morning was a definite "the dog ate my homework" moment.

How is it legal for one person (Musk) to spend $336 million to buy elections? Whether the donations are made to a PAC or as an individual shouldn't matter. Why am I limited on how much I can donate, but he isn't?

According to our president, Daylight Saving Time is a 48-hour grueling chore of resetting clocks. He also battles waterless showers, flushes toilets seven times, and lives in fear of batteries and windmills. To cap it all off, he apparently thinks a trip to the grocery store requires a photo ID.

Trump gamed everyone by using our tax dollars for his campaign ads which created a major distraction (and also got virtually every political program to air his ads for free on their shows) from #Epstein, #Iran, and his profiteering.
