Thank you once again to everyone who continues to support me. I wish I had more to show for it but I'm so rammed w/ comms constantly I haven't had time to draw a lot of fun stuff for myself. Is there anything you guys would want me to draw?

The fact that the humble spoice bag is not ubiquitous in a country that devours fast food like the US is, frankly, a crime We have our share of loaded fries but they've always felt more like a novelty than a staple fast food item

The patreon page is still pretty low-key for now, but I just made my first actual gamedev-ish post there for anyone interested in that sort of thing My writing isn't particularly great so I apologize if my prose is rambly

I wish I never needed a single dollar ever again, I feel like an ass constantly coming up and asking for support, but at the same time the amount of support I've seen lately has been absurd and I don't know how to react to it

I hope in the near future I can stop making posts like this but in the here-and-now my hands are tied. sorry to anyone who's a long-term fan seeing me constantly whinge about finances, it's not very cool or endearing I know

unfortunately I live in a part of the country where I'm not allowed to get the health insurance I need unless I make a certain amount of money in a year, and where going on disability is worse than being poor. I don't want to keep showing my ass but I don't have much choice ko-fi.com/A0272V2A

Like I can easily visualize story beats as scenes in my head but as soon as you ask me to write what the characters are saying I draw blanks

I started writing more stuff for a wee game idea I started last year but I feel a massive mental block when it comes to getting stuff out, especially script writing

while Valve's enormous wealth allows them to have a keen eye for design, they're still using it to sell gambling to kids, so I'm always half-and-half on it. that being said Deadlock is shaping up to be a masterclass in art and design especially given that these chars are being made for a MOBA

Gountro (comms open) @gountro.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I appreciate Valve's commitment to shape language and design cohesion above all else. I think that aspect shines best in Dota 2, and is now being reflected in Deadlock we're seeing hundreds of amazing artists and designers do what they do best

I just appreciate I've been able to make as much as I have from just doing art-related stuff, but it's not nearly enough to live comfortably or supplant the original backbone of my moving plan

feel like I've had my whole ass out on socials lately but not really sure what else to do. I can hardly hold down the job I already have, and disability benefits in this state/country are worse than making no money at all. feel like a moron having to ask for money constantly but I don't have options
