GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 17hWrestling became a real lifeline for me during lockdown. Pac was always my favourite. It's a crying shame. 110
GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 07/10/2026You should worry about Sam more. He got woken up with this nonsense.... But I'm right! 210

GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Ha! I listened to this expecting it to be a flamboyant intro and was genuinely surprised when no song came afterwards 🤣 010
GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 05/10/2026😱 You are my leading expert on old-fangled things. I think I'm from an adjacent but similar parallel dimension and this is my first clue. It's more likely than you not knowing! 110
GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Was this used as a UK TV theme tune at some point in the distant past? 🤔 My brain feels like it is trying to access corrupt data. Specifically around the 2 minute mark of the song.youtu.beBirdlandYouTube video by Jazzman 2696 110
GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I need to find my way into penetrating Van Halen properly because this has been on my "emergency clean the house" playlist for years. GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Occasionally we are reminded that there is no karmic justice to be found in this life. Good people are not protected from tragedy by the grace of their deeds. Despite this they are astounding anyway. Enriching the lives of everyone around them because it is who they are. 040
GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 28/09/2026A friend of mine did not know what to get me for Christmas one year so he used his laser cutter to burn Pac into a slice of bread for me. It made me so happy. It was very unexpected. Goddamn it. 140

GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 25/09/2026I asked someone only a few years younger than me if "the youth" know who the Monty Python Gumbys were? and he said "what the fuck is a Gumby". So there we go 😅 110
GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 24/09/2026I've been trying to think of easy costume ideas for halloween. A Gumby from Monty Python is ideal... However I'm worried that people younger than me will think I'm dressed as "Holiday Hitler" or something 🤔 Do people still know about Gumbys!? 231

GotPies @gotpies.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I was blissfully ignorant of TV operas until reading Copeland's book. It looks like channel 4 used to churn them out quite routinely.
