Ran purses her lips, debating what to do. She removes her own shoes before working on Sevika’s boots. Then she climbs under the covers, curling to her chest and nuzzling her neck, the smell of leather and tobacco familiar and soothing at this point, her own eyes growing heavy.

“Come then…” She takes his hand as she leads him into the shower. “You always bind so tight, baby, didn’t I give you some of my tape?” She asks as she frowns, helping him undress. She turns the shower and is glad they still have warm water.

“Viiiiii heyyyyy!” She grins. “We’re good, we’re still not engaged or anything but I am saving up for a little something for him… And you, huh? How’s things with Miss Kiramman up there? You know what always gets me? How much she reminds me of Mizu…” She taps her chin. “Her appearance, I mean…”

“Well then I guess we’ll have to shower together… how awful…” She smirks, kissing his nose with a mischievous grin. “Just let me finish this and I’ll be right with ya…” She turns off the stove, stirring the pot before putting the lid on and smiling. “Shall we go?”

Ran frowns, wanting to help but not knowing how. “Maybe we can sand the others to make them similar?” She offers, it’s not the best idea but it’s what she’s got. “Come here, love, let me hold you, yeah? I know this sucks…” She brings her into her arms, kissing her cheek.

Ran half drags her to the bed, helping her slip under the covers and tucking them around her. She dims the lights and watches her. She’s always so tired… Ran frowns, mouth curling downwards, something she always does when unhappy about something.

Ran had been preparing a stew for dinner, she smiles as she hears the door, then approaching steps, and finally a kiss on the cheek. She turns to him and smiles. “Welcome home, bluebell! You don’t look half as bad today…” She chuckles as she turns to wrap her arms around his neck. “Hi…”

“C’mon, omma…” Ran comes closer now, pulling at her arm. “On the bed! Your back is gonna thank me…” She says as she pulls.

“Omma? Omma, wake up..” Ran pokes her from afar, knowing she could jolt awake even with the smallest touches. “Please go to bed, you’ll be in pain tomorrow…” She says lightly

She smiles, nuzzling her and pressing kisses to her jaw. “I’ll get us the good stuff on our way home…” she could use some herself, to help relax. Another swig of her drink as her eyes meet Sevika’s, who gave her a nod, meaning she could go home with Margot.

By now Margot already knows exactly what to do and what buttons to push to make Ran relax, and it works as her expression softens. “You’re right. You always are…” She takes a swig of her whiskey, but keeps Margot close to herself. “Wanna ditch these assholes and go home in a bit?” She smirks.

“I know… And just because of what you do doesn’t mean you deserve to be seen as less than anyone…” she grumbles, puffing her cheeks in annoyance, which melted away when Margot kisses her head. “I hate that you’re used to it, I wish it wasn’t this way…” She hugs her tighter.

“I think you can…” Ran smiles and nuzzles close to him, smiling at the attention as she kisses back. “Or maybe I have a bigger mouth than I thought…” she grins

Ran’s glare softens as Margot calls her a good girl, she smiles and leans into her touch a bit. “I don’t like the way they look at you, like you’re a piece of meat rather than someone…” She grumbles, nuzzling her cheek.

Ran strokes his back. “I know what it feels like to be seen as less than human, less worthy of the most basic things… You’ve seen how life is here, and besides, with you by my side? I couldn’t care less about what others think…” She nuzzles his cheek.

Ran’s eyes flash pink and she immediately sits up. “HOLY FUCK… SHIT!” She shrieks, thankfully she’s been holding her drink with her prosthetic as her grip tightened enough to shatter the glass. She takes a moment to catch her breath and by the time she does, the wound is nearly completely healed.

Ran smiles softly. “You think that’s hot?” She chuckles weakly. A drink it served shortly after and Ran shifts as someone brings a pair of long tweezers? The tip is darkened, clearly passed through fire to sterilize it. Ran pulls the rag she used to stop the bleeding and the wound gushes to life ++
