On the t-shirt from which the BBC had to protect its viewers’ eyeballs, I would sooner we demand better pay and access to healthcare than allow our allies to feel pleased about their own goodness at zero cost. I know ‘protect the dolls’ was coined by a trans woman, but protection is insufficient.
