Shame that this one is missing on Apple Music. Still my favourite Lacrimas Profundere album and a true gothic metal classic. What is your favourite album by these guys? #metalsky #gothicmetal #lacrimasprofundere

If you have concerns about the growing power of the US #technoligarchy, there are perfectly valid European alternatives. These follow European standards and legal frameworks, instead of being useful tools for promoting fascism. #europe #europeanunion #europefirst

I've been listening to @hanginggarden.bsky.social a lot lately. Especially "Skeleton Lake" stands out for me as a wonderful piece of gothic/doom metal. Check it out if you haven't heard it! #gothicmetal #doommetal #finnishmetal #metalsky

One of the most beautiful album covers ever: Stabbing Westward - Chasing Ghosts. Have you heard it? It's a true gem of emotionally driven rock with an industrial vibe and a metallic edge. And the vocals... 🖤 @stabbingwestward.bsky.social #metalsky #industrialmetal #industrialrock #gothindustrial

Out today: the new album by Dawn Of Solace. Expecting some fine Finnish melancholy here, brought by Tuomas Saukkonen (Before The Dawn, Wolfheart) and Mikko Heikkilä (Sinamore, Kaunis Kuolematon). #metalsky #finnishmetal #gothicmetal #dawnofsolace

The most gothic album by Rotting Christ, maybe that’s why it’s also my favourite. Still sounding great after 25+ years! #rottingchrist #gothicmetal #metalsky

Normally not a big fan of folk metal, but the new Saor album actually sounds great! Intense and epic, while melodic and atmospheric at the same time, "Amidst The Ruins" is quite a journey. #metalsky #blackmetal #folkmetal #paganmetal

In case you've missed it: "Lighthouse" by Decadence Dust was my AOTY for 2023. It's a wonderful piece of gothic metal with subtle electronics, a lush atmosphere and the lovely voice of Anna Dust. Nothing too heavy, just great songs. #metalsky #gothicmetal #decadencedust

This is not a political profile, but I do want to wish my American friends a lot of strength, wisdom and perseverance in saving the remains of their democracy. #stopthecoup

Massive rainstorm today, my apartment even flooded a little. Playing 'Rain' from Samael's masterpiece "Passage" seems fitting. #metalsky #gothicmetal #industrialmetal

The way that "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed flows into "New Disease" by Spineshank in my nu metal playlist is quite magical and extremely powerful! And yes, nu metal is great music for cleaning! #numetal #disturbed #spineshank #metalsky

The Man-Eating Tree and Ghost Brigade were two of my favourite bands ever, turning Finnish melancholy into perfection. Now, after a long hiatus, The Man-Eating Tree are back with Manne Ikonen (Ghost Brigade) on vocals! How do you like the new single? #metalsky #gothicmetal #melodeath #finnishmetal

I don't enjoy most black metal albums, but... when they hit, they hit hard! The new album of The Great Old Ones sounds very promising so far, let's see if it sticks. #blackmetal #metalsky #thegreatoldones

Released on 10/01: Veil of Conspiracy - Shape of Grief Excellent doom/death metal from Italy with tons of melancholy, traditional “beauty and the beast” vocals and a gloomy, gothic atmosphere. Highly recommended! #veilofconspiracy #doommetal #gothicmetal #metalsky #meusemusic
