Hoboken had a Greenpeace protest. The Unilever US Headquarters is based in Hoboken. Passed the protesters on the street and noticed two people scaling Garage B, also with Greenpeace. They hanging a banner about plastics in Dove soap. Now HFD and Police are on the scene to eventually make arrest.

I was a teenager in 1976 for the Bicentennial. I watched the tall ships sail down the East River in NYC, taking it all in from my aunt's office in the UN building. Then I rushed down to lower Manhattan to watch the fireworks. It was celebration of unity—250th anniversary this year just isn't.
