iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

A redraw of a portrait I made around 10–15 years ago. I wanted to see how my understanding of anatomy, color theory, lighting and rendering improved. Ivelios Laucion Jallei, my half-elf aasimar rogue/wizard from an old D&D RP server for Neverwinter Nights. #art #ocsky #dnd #dndcharacter #ArtRedraw

Digital portrait of my OC, Ivelios Laucion Jallei, a half-elf aasimar.
He is looking at a viewer with a confident, subtle smile. He has long, slightly wavy golden-blond hair framing a sharp visage, light skin, and silver-gray eyes. He is wearing a dark grayish-teal hooded cloak pulled over his head, and pinned with a small ornate circular brooch. He gently holds a polished rapier upright across his chest with a black fingerless-gloved hand, showing a royal blue sleeve with silver details at the cuff.

Desvenughorth (Tlanextic) is a Primordial Spirit of Wrath worshiped as a god in my setting. These images show his different forms: humanoid, tonalli, Black Phoenix and Beast, plus a size comparison and the original sketch and the previous spreadsheet.

Size comparison of the four forms of Desvenughorth, also known as Tlanextic, the Primordial Spirit of Wrath. His Beast form stands at 495 cm tall and is a gigantic phoenix-dragon-like creature with a black feathered body, enormous wings, horns, claws, a long serpentine tail, glowing red-orange eyes, and a fiery crack across his chest. His Black Phoenix form is 200 cm tall and resembles an imagined evolutionary transition between theropod dinosaurs and early birds, with black feathers, a long reptilian tail, and a beak with tooth-like protrusions; its wings and tail end in fiery orange and yellow feathers. His humanoid and tonalli forms are both 155 cm tall. The humanoid form is a winged humanoid wearing clothing inspired by Mesoamerican garments and Shaolin monks. The Tonalli form is a winged felinoid, also dressed in the same style. The four figures are shown together to compare his relative sizes.

Digitally colored character sheet of Tlanextic, aka Desvenughorth, the Chaos Spirit of Wrath worshiped as god, from a worldbuilding project. The sheet features multiple portraits and two full-body poses of the character. When not in his true phoenix (or beast) form, he appears as winged human or tonalli (race of bipedal winged felines).
The design of his clothing, in most of the depictions, draws inspiration from Mesoamerican cultures (Aztec, Maya, Inca), combined with Shaolin monk aesthetics and martial arts.
The color palette centers on warm reds, oranges, yellows, and earth tones.

On the left: in humanoid form he appears as a young male with wavy, layered dark red hair, slightly pointed elf-like ears, glowing fiery eyes, and light olive skin. His wings are half folded: the upper feathers are black, gradually transitioning to fiery red at the tips. His bird tail has also additional three very long feathers with flame-like tips. His visible muscular build and dynamic pose emphasize agility and strength.
On the right: In his feline form he also has very youthful appearance with wavy, layered dark red hair, glowing fiery eyes, and orange brown (ruddy) fur. His wings are half spread: the upper feathers are dark red, gradually transitioning to fiery red at the tips. His cat tail is feathered and has also additional three very long feathers with flame-like tips.

In the close-up portraits, his expression varies:
Top left: human form, a serious, neutral expression;
Top left: human form, confused expression;
Top center: human form, mid-roar furious expression, his hair flows wildly, sharp teeth visible, and with glowing energy patterns emerging his eyes, emphasizing rage;
Middle center: feline form, hissing angry expression, with visible sharp teeth, and puffed hair;
Bottom center: feline form, a mixture of confused and defensive expression;
Bottom right: feline form, a cheerful, wide smiling expression, looking at a small cream-colored bird flying close to his face.

Thank you! Yeah, sometimes I set a project aside and come back to it later, the worst part is when my perfectionist mode kicks in and I start constantly tweaking small parts here and there 😅

I'm really proud of this one, even if it took ages to finish Einthiel, my Bosmer Nerevarine, taking a break in the Ascadian Isles with her faithful guar Corky and a little scrib #art #ocsky #morrowind #tes #ESOFam #ESO #elderscrolls #skyrim #oblivion #elfenjoyers #characterart #characterdesign

Digital illustration of Einthiel, my Bosmer Nerevarine from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, traveling through the Ascadian Isles on a calm morning. She stands with one foot resting on a mossy rock while studying her journal with a confused expression. In one hand she holds the journal and in the other her skull helmet - Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw. She wears Her Hand's Armor mixed with the Fists of Randagulf and carries Nerevar's legendary sword Trueflame, plus the Spell Breaker shield on her back. Beside her stands Corky, a heavily laden pack guar carrying travel supplies and bedrolls, looking at her with an open-mouthed expression. A small scrib walks near the rock at her feet. In the distance, a cliff racer circles above the landscape, while giant mushrooms rise from the misty horizon. The scene is lit by soft morning light.

Close-up of the previous illustration, focusing on the Nerevarine's puzzled expression as she studies her journal. The image highlights her face and the intricate details of her armor with it's various elements.
