All of this! I lost an art deal that would’ve given me a stable income making what I wanted but my living conditions aren’t stable. When I completed the first part of what was asked of me they felt uncomfortable with the sacrifice to my health and told me to wait. Lovely employers, crap situation.

Saw this on X and I just wanna make a point I can’t there so here’s an example of storyboarding vs the final piece. #artists know this isn’t even just a years of practice thing but it’s also a start vs finish thing. A lot of us scribble, silhouette, and even use stick figures to start a piece.

My fellow artists, you ever get the perfect shading done and you’re so proud…then you find out the half hour + you spent on that section was on the wrong layer so you gotta repair the layer AND do it all over again praying it’ll be just as perfect again🫠
