Well the main reason why im so silent on this account went out the window. Anyway, if your celebrating the death of a moderate (as stupid as he was), youre ghoulish. You reject man's rights to life, liberty, and property, so long as the other party respects yours. The future is voluntary.

i guess we going for round 2. i find it funny that most people are leaving over the block change (which is a nothingburger, stalkers could just log out to see your posts anyway if your a public account) and barely anybody mentioning the AI clause

More on the blocklists; its better because the user is consenting to not hear someone. On mastodon, instances got defederated for dumb reasons, and big instances were effectively a cabal. Also, anybody know a good android open-source bsky client so i dont have to use the pwa (it drains battery)?

and isolate the community is good. (thats why mastodon failed for me) I know nostr had a similar idea but bitcoin shills took it over so you had to block too many, as well as the fact too much processing had to be done client-side (turns phone into MRE heater)

first impressions: i like the feeds thing, very interesting way to have hashtags without hashtags (im assuming there are normal hashtags anyway but most seem to not use it) the hybrid federation-peer design is good, and making blocklists be popular instead of forced by mods to defederate...

pretty funny bsky opens up soon after Twitter/X kills off the api that let Nitter/Squawker to work. also hello yes im new here. been years since ive used a (sane) twitter like platform. (im banned from twitter for dumb reasons and mastodon defederated too much)
