Another retrospective - one of those brands that comes along that makes you say, 'how, how are they doing this for the money??). Never played an Uma I didn't think was terrific, and this was a fave. #gotaukulele #ukulele www.gotaukulele.com/2021/07/uma-...

Retrospective time - not mine - a video from the uke world I adored. If you love the Prince Sign O The Times album (as I do) you'll appreciate just how good this uke cover was by Will Grove-White and Ali. Impeccable. #ukulele #gotaukulele youtu.be/63dTNJFs8eo?...

I've always loved looking at Noah ukuleles. Few reasons.. he's a very nice bloke, it's a nice home grown brand, but perhaps most of all - HE LISTENS. For that reason each Noah I have looked at just got better and better and better. #gotaukulele #ukulele www.gotaukulele.com/2025/06/noah...

Whilst I wouldn't recommend dropping it deliberately - Leica cameras have survived war photography scenarios. Tough as old boots. I dropped an earlier Leica on Giants causeway from head height down onto rocks. Bent the lens hood and gouged the body. Camera is fine. Battle scars!

Five years ago in our 15th anniversary year we agreed to ditch the wedding anniversary present nonsense (stuff we don't need) and get matching tattoos every five years insted. This year is our 20th so had date of our wedding added to our 15th ones.

Another from the #gotaukulele archive - a topic so full of misinformation. Usually 'if your strings are going out tighten your tuners'. And also 'this is a good ukulele as it holds tuning'... Video at the end with me with an impossibly big 'beard'.. #ukulele www.gotaukulele.com/2017/01/my-u...

I've had something like that - usually due to an uneven fret. Fret dressing should fix it.

Not necessarily - other elements of the build, particularly the body have much more impact on tone, volume, sustain.

Retrospective time. This brand are all over Amazon with tonnes of 5* reviews. Many YT channels rave about them too. I’ve reviewed a couple (and played a couple more). I just really don’t think they shine much at all. #gotaukulele #ukulele www.gotaukulele.com/2023/04/cara...
