Gifts for @norz.bsky.social, one of my longest furry friendships. It's crazy to think we met way back in 2009 on an old IRC

We think of Spartans as Ancient Greece’s greatest warriors, but even Sparta feared the Sacred Band of Thebes: 300 elite soldiers formed from 150 male couples. At Tegyra, they defeated a larger Spartan force. Nearly 50 years later, all 300 died in a final stand against Philip II of Macedon.

The Gaesatae were Gaulish mercenaries of the 3rd century BCE from southern France, hired by the Insubres and Boii against Rome. They fought nude to intimidate and avoid snagging clothes, but Roman discipline and steel cut them down. They were last recorded at Clastidium, where they were routed.

Gabbing after work. Jay and his boyfriend share an after-work cigarette while that decompress, laugh together, and keep each other updated on the drama and shenanigans of their workplaces. #furryart #furry #furrycommunity #fursona #fursonaart

3rd in Warrior series. Many, not all, Scythian women were known to fight alongside their male counterparts. They were masters of mounted archery. So I made said warrior and literal horse archer, specifically a Przewalski horse. #furry #historynerd #furryart #ancientfurry

I wanted to draw a culture that is rarely represented: the Iberians/Celtiberians. The Celtiberians were a group of Celt & Celticised peoples inhabiting in area in central-northeastern Iberia before being conquered by Rome. As for the species of the warrior, I decided to go with the Iberian lynx.

Combining my love of furry and history, especially ancient history. So, I give you a Ancient Greek slinger. As for the species of the slinger, I thought it'd be appropriate to use the, now extinct, Laconian hound of Sparta and the Greek isles.

Finished watching Severance S2 and I need S3 now! With my obsession I found a promotional piece I liked and drew Jay in it. Then one of my oldest friends, @danrulz98.bsky.social, said he really liked it so I drew one for him.
