I think it's time to nuke the Win 10 drive for good. Ideally I'd also clone my 512gb Fedora drive and expand it into this 1TB drive, but I've never had much luck with that sort of thing.

There was a time when I knew how to open the filter modal with a keyboard shortcut, and I remember it being a pain in the ass to learn the first time around, but I don't remember and I'm mad about it. I do remember it being a strange shortcut. Like I feel like Tab was involved, for some reason.

Ok, as expected, utility hooks do make half decent wall mounts for guitars. The one thibg purpose made guitar hangers have going for them however is that the hook usually swivels, so asymmetrical headstocks like both if these don't cause the guitar to lean to […] [Original post on hachyderm.io]

Some friendly citizens and police officers all hanging out together to watch a police cruiser's sick breakdancing routine. A grown up street light and its young adult child watch from the back row.
Screenshot of an ad on my YouTube home feed, captioned "Tension Erupts Outside the Studio; Crowds gathered outside as police moved in and the situation quickly escalated." The image shows a moderately sized crowd of reasonanly calm looking protestors, a few of which in the front are holding a sign which reads "Canadians for Reform", gathered behind a gated off section of the street outside of a building with the CTV logo on it (which I don't recognize as any CTV building I've ever seen, but idk maybe it's meant to be one from BC or something), in which a police cruiser is laying directly on its driver side. Literally right beside the crowd of protestors, are several police officers just kinda standing there looking at the same cop car. Oh and there are two street lights in the background like 2ft apart, but one of them is 2 or 3ft taller than the other lmao.

Basically it's slop.

Elementor has taken the universal trend of butthole AI logos, and gone a step further, with a whole ass ass pooping out a smaller twinkley sphincter... so uh, yeah.
The top bar of Elementor featuring a series of vague icons. The first is a plus sign, which brings up the list of widgets to add to the page, to the right of that is a new one, which a little toast below it indicates is for a feature called "Angle" which purports to generate new widgets based on a proompt. But the icon, I swear to Bob, looks like two butt cheeks (kinda like a 3 with the top and bottom quarters missing, if that makes sense) just pooped out a little twinkley butthole (the international symbol for AI features is of course a glittery sphincter; which isn't far from the truth). You can't make this stuff up.

Is this not one of the sexiest headstocks ever conceived? It really is a shame. Silvertone 14XXs were all over eBay back in the day ~2005ish), and yeah, a really nice one with the original amp-in-case with all it's vinyl/fabric intact would have cost you real […] [Original post on hachyderm.io]
eBay listing for a Danelectro-made Silvertone (old Sears' house brand) branded guitar neck. The headstock is shaped like a 3+3 (3 tuners per side, as opposed to 6 in a row on the top) style headstock, but it has 6 holes on the top/left (top if you're playing it; left if you're standing it up vertically in front of you), and the Silvertone logo, which is a very mid-century cursive with a thick/thin contrast reminiscent of a sign painter working with a slim brush (kinda Sharpie-esque). The placement of the logo is also unique, oriented to be read with the neck standing up vertically, and offset towards the right (as again, the left hand side is drilled for the column of 6-in-line tuners).

Also fairly unique to Danelectro built instruments is the "sparkle" finish. The body would have matched the headstock, in this case black with speckles of silver glitter. It's not like a modern sparkle paint job where the glitter is under layers of clear coat. If you were to run your hands over it you would feel it. It's like they just sprinkled glitter onto wet paint (that may very well have been the case; I don't really know lol)

A likely early to mid-80s electric guitar. It has a red-orange sunburst finish, two very wide single coil pickups encased in chrome, and a 22 fret (plus a zero fret) definitely not ebony fretboard (definitely something cheaper dyed black) missing the two highest frets. The bridge on mine is an import Tune-O-matic style thing (with obnoxiously tall roller saddles, which necessitated a fairly generous neck shim) because the original was just a curved bar with terrible intonation.

The pickups sound great by the way. If you spot one of these for cheap, pick it up. They're great.

Despite my best efforts, the clip on this tuner finally broke, so I've turned it into this sad but otherwise fully functional suction tuner, which makes me laugh and is therefore an improvement over it's previous form.
A small circular electronic guitar tuner with a bright inverted LCD screen. A curved plastic arm protrudes from the back, crudely electrical taped to a suction cup, which has been stuck to a glass coffee table. The whole thing stands at a hunched and tilted stance not dissimilar to Marvin from Hitchhikers' Guide.

I discovered Spectroid and I've spent the past several minutes trying and failing to whistle at 2600 Hz like Cap'n Crunch. I can barely hit 1900. It might help if I could whistle outward, but I cannot. That smug brat from Honey I Shrunk the Kids has been taunting me since the 90s.
Screenshot of Slectroid, a spectrum analyzer app for Android. The top portion of the display uses a yellow line to chart the current frequencies (x axis is freq., y axis is amplitude) and a red line to chart the maximum amplitude for each frequency since starting recording. The lower portion is a traditional spectrogram, which uses brightness to show amplitude as opposed to the y axis, which in this case is time. The entire spectrogram slowly moves down as time passes. There is a warbley vertical streak around 1500-1800hz showing the past 50ish seconds of me trying my best to break 1800Hz, lol. The value displayed the very moment of the screenshot is 1809 Hz.
