Nurul Amin Shah Alam crossed oceans to flee unimaginable violence, only to die here — where he should have been safe. The cruelty is endless.

Simple language. Say it like it is Instead of "Extrajudicial killing deprives all Americans of their constitutional rights" Say this "The government is murdering people. That is evil"

Complete control of the military, the FBI, the bureaucracy, the diplomatic corps. Comic book level super villains are green with envy of Trump. Political opponents are literally afraid for their lives and the lives of their families. As are children at bus stops. What can stop him?

You know what would be a genuine productivity boost for me? Something that could take all my daily newsletters, such as TLDR, and consolidate it to a monthly update. For example, I really don't need a daily update on new agentic advances. But a monthly update would be great

Looking for a good AI enhanced personal knowledge base. Used Roam Research for a long time and loved the graph I built there. Disliked the lack of integration with, well, anything. Also really hard to generate and manage tasks. Anyone have a recommended tool for sucking in ALL my personal data?

Was gym climbing with a good friend who is a data scientist and does conflict research in places like Ukraine and Myanmar. Got talking about sentimental analysis of Burmese posts. Finally clicked for me how a decentralized, open, social platform like Bluesky could be a societal game changer

Rant: 30 years using text editors to write docs and semi-automated alignment and indentation still fuck me up. IMO, this is a perfect example of over-complicating a product, whether it be Word or Google Docs. How much of my life has been spent manually undoing auto-formating?!

Anyone have an AI augmented journal/notetaker they really like? I want a single place to a) store notes b) originate tasks c) create summaries. So I need something that is comprehensive and connected to apps where I do work. Use cases in thread

Amazing stuff happening in the tech world, and of course data. @jakthom.bsky.social keeps blowing my mind. Got to ask; what real world problems are we getting better at solving?

@jayatillake.bsky.social you've got me fully onboard the semantic layer train. Partly because it's an "what's old is what's new again" like most good engineering solutions. Any opinions on how Cube can help with managing PHI?
