Is using AI to make copies of shitty companies software unethical like how there isnt an open source android app that can host a digital vinyl player yet its tech thats been out for like 24 years. OR A LOOPER APP WITH MULTITRACK I/O AND MIDI CLOCK I/O.

All the dumb questions on social media are really just AI agents working to get the answer for whoever prompted it and they've started internalizing the "go find the answer on reddit to avoid ai" strategy to get away from...themselves...

Came up with a marketplace, they didnt want to put development works in, now its a feature on their forum. Came up with an installation jig, didnt want to put the resources to make them available for customers. Now giving them away with every kit.

I keep seeing the company i used to work for releasing products based off my ideas, even though they told me those ideas weren't worth anything, and I cant do anything about it because I was employed there when I came up with them.

Ok weird thought for today: dolphin have a certain kind of fat that matches acoustic impedance btwn their vocal organs and the water. Horns match acoustic impedance of speaker and air. A. Dolphins have horns. B. Can you replace a speaker horn with some kind of impedance matching material? Hmm.

At least try something useful that hasn't been done before, theres tons of need for dsp tools that nobody seems to want to touch. Why has nobody has vibecoded a low latency fir filter bank so people can actually have phase coherent setups

Jorts Courtley @gorchportly.bsky.social · 23/04/2026
The number of vibecoded speaker modeling software thats been coming out for the last 6 months is wild and so so stupid. There is no difference between any of them other than the skinning. Everyone "coding" them admits to not understanding the math, so then wtf did you innovate?

Okay I took your suggestion and it worked really well, I designed a 3-way crossover with phase compensation through FIR and only get about 12ms of latency from input to output. Thanks!

His post explaining his "expermient". Notice how they rely on AI to defend their own opinions, its the same in replies. Some founder.
Post Text: Yesterday at CanJam NYC 2026 we did something no one in this industry has ever done.

Three identical headphone rigs. Same amp. Same DAC. Same headphones. Same music. Same volume.
The only variable was what the internet calls SNAKE OIL.

Strangers walked up. Put on headphones. Scored what they heard across 11 parameters. No coaching. No one told them what to hear. Just their ears and a scorecard.

Then I fed every scorecards into an AI.
Claude parsed the raw data — an AI developed by Anthropic — I asked it to tell me what the numbers say. It flagged every problem with the test. The convention floor noise— from dozens of conversations nearby. The three hours of lost spoty internet. The amps someone tampered with. The listeners who refused to participate. Every caveat. Full transparency.

Then it told me the Reference system scored a 68% improvement over stock— in musicality alone.

Across eleven parameters. In one of the loudest rooms in audio. With everything working against it.
This is what happens when you stop arguing with trolls and start collecting data in real life.

Thirty-three years I’ve been told to prove it.

And AI just did.

Whether its a larger trend in audio products or the economy in general, it is unacceptable either way. I will post some screenshot show you just how much he despises the market he claims to love. He believes his customers are idiots and his critics are assholes while selling $8,000 IEC cables.
Post 3 from Synergistic Research founder

Post text: That’s the real engine underneath every cable debate in every audio forum on the internet. And it’s time someone said it plainly.

It’s envy.

Envy for systems they can’t afford. Envy for technology they don’t understand and couldn’t build. Envy for the men who own those systems and built those lives — men who evaluate, audition, and invest in performance at a level the detractors will never reach. Not because they lack intelligence. Because they lack the will, the means, or both — and instead of sitting with that honestly, they build an elaborate ideology around why the thing they can’t have doesn’t work.

The physics arguments are a shield. “Maxwell’s equations are just a theory.” “Show me a peer-reviewed study.” “The math disproves it.” They haven’t done the math. They can’t explain the physics. They’ve never tried the product. But the arguments give them something to stand on that feels more dignified than the truth — which is that they either can’t afford to participate, they’re too cheap to try, or someone at home won’t let them.

Every one of these men could audition a Synergistic Research product tomorrow. Money-back guarantee. Zero risk. Their system, their room, their ears. The only investment is the willingness to find out they were wrong. And that’s the one investment they’ll never make — because the cable isn’t the threat. The threat is what happens after they hear the difference and have to reconcile it with everything they’ve been saying online for years.Post 2 of Synergistic Research founder.

Post Text:➡️ It was never about the physics.

He told me that himself — multiple times. “I can’t do complex physics.” Fine. No shame in that.

It was never about the measurements. He never cited one. Never asked for a specific data point. Never engaged with a single equation, a single principle, a single mechanism.

It was never about the cables. He says he believes cables make a difference.

He says he’s bought higher-end cables himself. He’s spent $200 on a cable. In the world of high-end audio, that’s like saying you’re into Ferrari and showing up in a 1984 Nissan Sentra— and yes, we actually build the $198 Ferrari with our Pink power cord..

So what was it about?

He told us in his last sentence. “I’m not going to help you buy another motorcycle.”

But he told us earlier too — when he said anyone who spends more than he would on a cable is “mentally unwell or didn’t earn their money.” And then added — “that’s not hyperbole.”

Read that again. He didn’t just say they made a bad decision. He said we didn’t earn what we have. He questioned the legitimacy of another man’s success because that man spent money in a way he wouldn’t. That’s not a product objection. That’s not a physics objection. That’s class resentment — aimed at men he’s never met, whose systems he’s never heard, whose success he can’t explain within a framework that makes him comfortable.Post 1 from Synergistic Research founder on a debate of the cost benefits of his products.

Post Text: Two days ago I wrote about a pattern I’ve seen for 33 years — a man who draws a line at what he can afford, builds an identity around that line, and calls everyone on the other side of it mentally unwell.

That post hit 50,000 views. I unblocked the man it was about and tagged him in. He showed up and performed every behavior the post described — in front of all of you.

But he saved the best for last.

His final comment — his actual parting words after days of circular arguments about physics he admitted he couldn’t understand — was this:

“I’m not going to help you buy another motorcycle.”

And there it was. The whole thing. Right there in one sentence.

His posts that talk about this "never before attempted experiment" makes you believe that something significant was done here when really the sycophantic ai told him his experiment was poorly done but that the results could exist in a better setting. This was his proof of non-biased analysis.

As long as he continues to shill bs snake oil, I will continue directly calling out the founder of Synergistic Research for his scam of a company. You will probably see his claims of a new test that validates their products, but if you actually read: he had Claude average a bunch of votes for him.
