Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 30/09/2025Don’t you just love it when a logo gets a minimalistic rebranding? It’s so exciting to see something turn modern, sterile, and soulless. #design @TheTrolleyGame - @byDanDans #TheTrolleySolution 100
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025Thanks for coming to my FredTalk. Wanna be clear that I dont disparage anyone for liking the new games, I'm glad you enjoy them. I hope the new stuff can be for you what the old stuff was for me. Though it'll be a significantly buggier version. Sure wish Steel Wool had some more QA Testers :) (9/9) 000
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025But I wish FNAF would learn what its good at, and stop trying to be what it thinks everyone else is good at. FNAF codified Mascot Horror, and now it feels like is desperately scraping to remain on top, when it easily could've died the king. But who cares? I certainly didn't. (8/9) 110
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025Anyway, FNAF wants kids to sell characters to (this game was solely the creation of a million mascots to put on merch, that's all it felt like). And I'm just not the target demographic anymore. Which is fine. I don't mind if they don't cater to me specifically, I am not one of those people. (7/9) 100
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025Small tangent, but there were moments where it set itself up for a cool puzzle, and then ruined it by baby-proofing the answer. Why make a cool puzzle about piecing together a timeline of events through film reels when you write the solution down RIGHT NEXT TO THE FILM PROJECTOR?? (6/9) 100
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025Someone proposed that "growing up" was what I was feeling, and ultimately I don't think I grew out of FNAF. I go back and play those older games and they still grip me to this day. I think FNAF grew out of me. It's clear FNAF targets its newer child audience. Hell, this game is perfect proof. (5/9) 100
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025It's ideas could build towards a story worth telling. But FNAF's all told out. Like it's characters, I just feel like it doesn't know how to die. And that's sad, because I LOVE FNAF. It is one of my biggest inspirations. It was what I grew up with. (4/9) 100
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025-especially since it was the EXACT SAME TWIST as Ruin. The secret ending fell flat, because again, I didn't care about the characters whatsoever. The problem is that if this was not a FNAF game (or I guess I should say a game with a FNAF coat of paint on it), I might've liked it more. (3/9) 100
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025SOTM was formulaic, doing nothing unique. It was boring, doing nothing of interest. It was frustrating, doing nothing quite right. It wasn't bad. It wasn't good. It was numbing, which is the worst thing a game can be. I called the "twist" within 5 seconds (2/9) 100
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025youtu.be/2eV4vfI_X44?... Finished Secret Of The Mimic today. Turns out the secret was that he was mimicking every other Mascot Horror game ever made. It was such a soulless game, I genuinely felt nothing while playing it. At least Security Breach made me upset. Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025it presents. The music is great (some really kick-ass battle music in there) and the story it tells is a great depiction of what it's like to lose someone you care about and slowly realize you were the one who drove them away. This game was fun to play and cool to experience, highly recommend! (3/3) 010
Goose Hand @goosehand.bsky.social · 26/08/2025an entirely unique experience! Its clear the developer of this game loves the genre and put a lot of love and life into this game. The wildly juxtaposed art styles, which clash against each other to keep you unsettled, while also being cohesive enough to not break your immersion in the setting (2/3) 100
