guys you have no idea how many times i got stuck on those stairs. i would fall thru the geometry or freeze in place. and then my last save was like four hours prior. many crash outs occurred back in 2018/2019. it wasn’t just stairs, but it was mostly stairs.

warhorse were super ambitious with their cutscenes in kcd1 on their comparatively small budget. kcd1 was jank in so many many ways, but the cutscenes were so theatrical and fun that i was like, “oh this game fucking rules,” and it kept me going after my 50th staircase glitch

you have to have hella arm and back strength to be an archer. think about the mechanisms invented to wind up a crossbow just to match a skilled archer with a bow. Hans is described as being Zizka's *best* archer. He's not this delicate guy. he can FUCK you UP given the chance.
